Very helpful audiobook

The author does tend to repeat himself a bit, but overall the message is helpful. I had been involved with gaslighters before and unfortunately had let them lead me into Gaslight Tango. It would have been great if I bought this audiobook earlier but hey at least I know what is Gaslighting and how to hopefully avoid or stop it. In short, gaslight is often used by people who feel insecure and need a sense of power or control. It's used to manipulate or shift the perception of the gaslightee to that of the gaslighter.

Great! Small Investment but Big Return

It was a small investment of my time, but I learned a lot. Best way to describe this audiobook is by using terms from Star Wars. You can use the Force for good or for bad; the choice is yours...A great audiobook that helps you understand mind control so you know when to use it on others and, more importantly, when it’s being used on you!

Priceless audiobook

This audiobook is a great self help tool. Helpful examination of unhealthy dynamics that can crop up in relationships over time. Emotional abuse is not just name calling...it is also a certain type of invalidation that occurs gradually over time, eroding your sense of self and judgment. In my opinion this audiobook is worth every penny!!!

Timeless and Practical

This is a great guide for anyone who really struggles with listening to body language or social cues in general.

Wow!

Growing up, I've realized there's no such thing as a perfect relationship, and you just have to accept these imperfections for everything to work. But, what if these imperfections can ruin not just what you have but you yourself?

This book might be quite longer than neccessary but it truly opened my eyes to the lurking dangers in a seemingly good relationship I have with other people. The audiobook talks about emotional abuse but by people you regard very highly as such, troubled by the constant nagging that something is gravely wrong and needs changing yet afraid to lose someone you hold dearly.

I very much recommend this to everyone. It helps you realize that not everything needs to be taken for granted and pushes you to get out of the cage that you unknowingly get yourself into. It is very prevalent yet alarmingly discreet, I'm glad I bought this audiobook as it definitely helped change my perspective for the better.
