Loved this one too

It has its ups and downs with intensity but it definitely take its fair share of twists and turns. And I’m still not sure who I think she should be with out of her “men” because with each book there’s more that develops with each of them! This one had me on the edge of my seat more than once.

The story continues!

Book two jumps right into the story we left off on book 1 and never quite lets go. In this book, Lana and her guys have hatched a plan to infiltrate the gifted government, but things don't go quite as planned, which almost jeopardizes everything for Lana. I'm really loving this series so far, though I still want more romance! I love a strong, fast-moving plot, but I'm in it for the romance, and while things are progressing, it's not fast enough for me. I want more!

I'm still enjoying Heather Firth's narration - she delivers a great performance. And, after that ending, I am so glad book 3 is already out because I would have gone nuts if I had to wait!

Lots of intrigue and love

OH! I loved this book. So much happens! Lana is suppose to be spying on the gifted council. The problem is that she gets to know her Grandma and learns that maybe not all the gifted are evil. I won't give away any spoilers but we learn a lot about the council and about the resistance. We also get to know her men aloooot better.

The ending blew my freaking mind! I honestly didn't see it coming and now I need the next book asap!

Left on such a dramatic and suspenseful situation I need to go into part 3 now! This series just keeps getting better and better !

Love the story...... where’s the 3rd book?

I have fallen in love with this audible series but am sadly disappointed the 3rd book isn’t available. Why put the first 2 out of a person can’t get the ending?

Great second book!!

I couldn't get enough and had to know what the FMC was going to do about her grandmother and how they were going to take on the gifted elites. Defenitely kept me on the edge of my seat about what was happening with the rebellion. I love the spy theme of this series and cant wait to find out what happens in book 3

WOW need the next

This book really grew from the first and gave us so much. The characters have all grown and become so much more and the ending was a crazy cliffhanger. The narrator has grown on me as well. In the first book the male characters voices felt forced and fake, but they have gotten so much better and I am really enjoying Heather Firth's narration now.

Book 2 has so much intrigue and fast-paced storyline, I couldn't get enough of it. I listened to it way too quickly and hopefully will get book 3 soon so I can devour it like this one haha. Loved Game of Lies, even when I almost cried on my way to work ❤️

Narration: Heather I think does an even better job in Game of Lies compared to Bound by Magic. She had waaaay more characters to do and she made them distinct enough I could figure out who was talking. I thought she did the council/representatives very well, as well as Beatrice and her help at home. I loved her Akio voice in here even more, as well as her other men. There was so much emotion for them each to deal with and I could feel it through speaker. Heather enhanced and made the story better by the way she performed. Amazing job!

Story: ahhhhh ok, I wont post any spoilers but this one was super exciting. Book 1 set the stage and book 2 decided to throw all this stuff at Lana and her guys and it was pretty insane at some point haha. I loved every second and seriously didn't want it to end. I was heartbroken with the loss, not entirely surprised by the twist and almost flung my phone when the audiobook ended haha. Sadie does a great job making you want more. Especially with the relationship between Lana and each of the 4. I am dying for Jay and Akio to get their turn, I will implode with happiness when I get to that part in book 3 😍. I really liked the group working together, the subterfuge, and the little bits of history revealed to give us the bigger picture and answering some lingering questions. There is still so much unanswered, but I beat Sadie will hit it out of the park like she did books 1 and 2. Love love love ❤️
