When the aliens came down and told us they’d enslave all of the human race if we didn’t send our bigliest warrior to participate in their arena death games, I laughed at them. It was really funny because they obviously didn’t know who they were dealing with. Know what I mean? Then they said they would pick the greatest warrior, and they picked Marc Havak. He seemed like such an average guy, but he was a true-blue American. He even worked as a truck driver! That’s the kind of good guy we want defending us from aliens.

Okay read
This was an okay, entertaining read. I liked that they were all boxed together though each book is complete on its own. They all follow the same couple as we see them get together and go through some issues to be stronger through each book. There were some eye rolling moments throughout the stories which is why I gave it the rating that I did. I had a little bit of a harder time connecting and staying fully engaged to characters and stories the entire time. This was entertaining though and as the books are on the shorter side it did not take too long to read/listen to them. I listened to the audio book and thought that the narrator did a decent job with it.
