Publisher's summary

When John Wayne Gacy, one of America's most depraved serial killers, went to his death by lethal injection in 1994, that ought to have been the end of it. It wasn't. More than 20 years later, psychic mediums looking into claims of paranormal activity in an old Illinois movie theater were shocked to discover that it is haunted by a man who goes by the name of John and appears as a leering clown.

Why would the ghost of a murderer prowl the hallways of the R Theater? What will happen when veteran researcher Brad Klinge decides to confront Gacy, attempting to inflame his anger and draw him out? A team of paranormal investigators will lock themselves in with him in an attempt to establish contact with this aggressive spirit...and get more than they bargained for.

Join author/investigator Richard Estep of TV's Haunted Hospitals, Paranormal 911, and Haunted Case Files as he sets out to find the truth behind this remarkable haunting.

Serial Killer Ghost

Most are familiar with the crimes of John Wayne Gacy. The twisted nature of his crimes have not gone without many writing about it, documentaries, and so many other medias. His crimes shocked the nation - especially over the ages of many of his victims.

This was an interesting read, with the history and paranormal investigations. Enjoyable read.

Paranormal Investigation

A serial killer, John Wayne Gacy, is said to be haunting an old theater in Illinois. The author, is a veteran paranormal investigator. He and his team attempt to contact the ghost of Gacy with the help from mediums, Ouija board, and by an attempt to bring him out by angrily confronting the ghost. The investigation and the team’s experience shine. You feel as though you are there in the theater with them.

The narrator did a great job bringing the written words to life. His performance was professional and easy to listen to.

not bad but had higher expectations

usually I don't physically write reviews but in this case this book, as intriguing as the premise was, fell flat for me and seemed too scattered and unfocused. random even. I went into it not expecting much just as the foreward warns but by the end I felt like.... showing up expecting thanksgiving dinner and have a TV dinner instead for an analogy. one more thing yes this is about gacy but do you have to name drop about a hundred or more times? it seems like every sentence ended with John Wayne Gacy. recommendation? if you are into true crime like me and want a little something different but related go for it. if you are looking for a jump out of your seat ghost story this is not it.
