It was just really funny and had me laughing.

Jane, of course! Everyone was themselves, but Jane's narration was great.

It's funny, and has the classics

The performances are good, but the hackneyed setups for each review grew tiresome quickly. I wish they'd dig a lil deeper for some of these tho; I can recite gummy bear review they used by heart almost.

Surprisingly Entertaining

During a fourteen hour drive home for the holidays, I was feeling depressed. Tired of staring at nothingness and an endless sea of pine trees, I needed to find something to boost my spirits. At a gas station, I quickly scoured my Audible library. I found this short, thirty minute listen. Hey! I like Jane Lynch and who didn't laugh hysterically at the now-infamous "Gummy Bears from Hell" review on Amazon?! (If you know not what I speak of, look it up. It's a hoot! So, yeah. I thought this would be a fun listen to bust up the monotonous long road ahead. I was right. Jane Lynch does a brilliant job of introducing laugh-out-loud reviews from Amazon. Jane is pretending to shop for friends and relations and gives a stellar performance. Never seems like anything is scripted. The actual reviews are performed by other celebrities, such as Gilbert Gottfried, Joel McHale, Lewis Black, and Margaret Cho. The reviews are performed much like comedy improv. Silly, yes! Would I listen to a full-length version? Absolutely not, but thirty minutes of goofy satire can be quite entertaining on a lonely stretch of interstate. It lightened my mood and made me chuckle. Isn't that the point? Let me just say this, in the Amazon reviewer world there are some seriously creative folk. This listen did wonders for my road-weary mind. Laughter IS the best medicine.

It's all in the delivery, oh, and the content too

Jane missed great reviews for these, but the performers did their best with the content.
