What a ride...

This was such a good, fast paced read. I respect that the author stayed true to the story and it didn't turn into a farfetched HEA. The realness of this story is something I appreciated thoroughly. Kacey is such a breathe of fresh air and the dynamic between her and Jonah was fantastic. Jonah's realistic look at how things would inevitably work out was also appreciated and done well. It wasn't morbid, just real and raw.

The narration was music to my ears and helped bring every emotion to the forefront.

tear jerker

This book was so sweet. It has a certain trope that will always make me cry, but this one was done better than some I've read. Jonah was so sweet, kind, and reserved. Kacey is wild and being run down by a career she isn't sure she wants. I was hooked on this book from the moment I started it. It made me laugh and cry, made me feel joy and heartache. I'll definitely be reading the second book soon.

This book took my breath away. The audio took it to the next level. Both narrators had emotion - pain and love. So well done.
