Publisher's summary

New York wedding planner Mercy Rose is looking forward to a future not unlike the fairy tales she creates day after day for her clients. She's even got the perfect prince to seal her fairy-tale fate. But when a hurricane savagely blows through her small hometown in rural Louisiana, it's her past she needs to worry about.

Going home means risking more than finding her family's B&B in ruins; it could mean churning up every last piece of her past she thought was dead and buried. Mainly, every piece she ever shared with Frank Kingston. The boy next door and her first love.

Determined to prove she's moved on, Mercy sets her sights only on matters of the hurricane and serving the community ravaged by it. But the longer she's here, the harder it gets to separate who she's become from who she's always been. And, the harder it gets to deny, the boy who broke her heart...could now turn out to be the man who still owns it.

All Once Upon a Wedding stories are stand-alones and do not need to be enjoyed in order.

First and Last Kiss

This book is about Mercy Rose and Frank Kingston. Mercy left her hometown of Lacey, LA for New York about 10 years ago after Frank broke her heart. Mercy and Frank were childhood sweethearts and neighbors. Now hurricane Rose has struck Lacey and Mercy has come home to check on her families bed and breakfast. Being home has stirred up old feelings and heartbreak. Frank always told Mercy he cheated on her to get her to go to New York. Frank didn't think he was good enough for Mercy. Clearly Frank and Mercy haven't moved on even after all these years. Mercy's boyfriend from New York flies to Lacey as well. It is a good love story with emotional angst. It is also very PG nothing bad that I can remember in it. I did enjoy the story. I wasn't expecting the twist with Camden...why she didn't like Mercy.

Sweet

This was such a sweet story and the narration was great! It wasn’t an all consuming love story but I really enjoyed this book.

Sweet second chance romance.

Beautifully written, Fruit Punch Kisses will warm your soul. Once I started I could not stop listening and finished this wonderfully narrated story in one sitting. Filled with richly drawn characters, drama, excitement and a bit of angst, this one will be listened to again. Throughly enjoyable!

Sweet and Romantic!

This standalone romance is part of a Once Upon a Wedding Story. Mercy and Jack’s second chance to love is sweet and romantic. Their journey is filled with misunderstanding and miscommunication. The supporting characters are great. This is a great story. Allyson Voller did a great job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice, very pleasant to listen to. #AudiobookObsession

home for a second chance

Frank pushed Mercy away, certain that she was bound for bigger things than their small town could offer. She headed to New York for college, and a busy career as a wedding planner. After a catastrophic hurricane hits town, she comes back to check on her family B&B. It's a sweet story, but Mercy finds her life in a state of uncertainty, with mixed feelings about Chase, her current love, and Frank, her past. I enjoyed the narration of this book; Allyson Voller's voice is fresh and calming. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Mercy and Frank

A sweet small town country second chance romance! This one was a clean romance, which is not normally my thing, but this one is super adorable! Also K.S. Thomas does a good job of making a misunderstanding between 2 people way less annoying then most authors I've read. The lack of communication normally, for me, is the hardest part to get through. She does it in a way we're you can understand how that could happen.

The narrator is awesome at voices to match the personally of each character. It really helps you get lost in the story.

A second chance they didn’t know they wanted

City life and country life collide for Mercy when she goes back home. The boy next door is still there but all grown up. I loved the city slicker boyfriend who follows her and the bathroom antics with Wade - Hysterical. The narration was great, I felt like my friend was telling me the story, very natural, good pace, great characters.

Fruit Punch Kisses

Fruit Punch Kisses by K.S. Thomas. Wonderful story that was heartfelt and full of charismatic characters, charming setting in difficult times, undeniable chemistry, and a second chance that put a huge smile on this readers face. Even though the story ended, I will often wonder how Mercy and Frank are doing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
