Fruit Pie with a Side of Murder

Life goes on for these two, but once again get thrown into a murder investigation and a personal relationship takes a hit. I loved listening to this mystery just as much as the previous ones and want to see what comes next. I missed that their wasn’t as much family interaction in this one but that’s how real life is sometimes so makes sense it would be like that in a book. Narration was done really well also.

Sabrina and her detective husband are back on a case together. Roger, the man who was put in prison for his ponzi scheme.has been found dead. There are way too many suspects beginning and ending with all the people who was fleeced by him. As they go through the long list of suspects there isn't anyone who feels sorrow over that man's death. Will they be able to find the killer?
The narrator Lili Dubuque brings each character to life as we follow along in the footsteps of Sabrina and her husband.
Fantastic audio to listen to and to figure out the clues as they come along.

Kept my attention

This is a great murder mystery. It is well told on audible and kept my attention. I can’t wait to listen to more books by this author.

More danger in Treasure Cove

So we find out a lot in this nugget of Sabrina's life! Not only do we have Roger being released from prison after jailed for a ponzi scheme, but we get a view of some of Sabrina's personal life. The arrival of her biological father lets find out a little background on things that we have seen and heard of in other stories. It's always fun to learn a little more about Sabrina and David. Back to the murder though! With Roger, there are so many suspects and all could be the culprit! Will Sabrina and David be able to sniff out the murderer? It's a great listen, full of the characters we have come to love, and with this one, we get a little fruit pie! Lili Dubuque brings it all alive with her fun narration.

I received this complimentary copy and very happy to have listened to it. I really enjoyed it..it kept my attention, it made me laugh...can't wait to listen to the next one!

Great storyline

I loved how this book ended. If only our could solve all out problems in life. Great narration. I really love these books by this author.

A Clean Cozy Mystery

This is a clean, cozy mystery that is part of a series. It is also great as a stand alone. Roger Osgood sets up the biggest ponzi scheme in Treasure Cove. He gets millions of dollars from people and was getting away with it until someone wanted to borrow money from the fund. He changes the lives of many causing bankruptcies. He goes to prison but gets out after only five years. Many are upset about this. He returns to Treasure Cove after release from prison. A few days after his return he turns up dead. Sabrina Carlson amateur sleuth and Detective husband are a loss of whodunit. All the leads are hoing bad. You have to read or listen to get the answer. the characters are believable and interesting. The narration is great. You won't want to stop listening. I reccommend this book.

A wonderful cozy.

Sabrina’s father Walter wants a relationship but things are not so great between them. Then Roger Osgood has been released from jail and you guess it there is a murder that David and Sabrina have to deal with. This is another great cozy mystery by Meredith Potts. The author has given the reader so many suspects and such wonderful twists. You will love this cozy! Lili Dubuque was great as the narrator.

Another Good Cozy Mystery

This audiobook is perfect for anyone who wants to spend a couple of hours with a cozy whodunit. Sabrina Carlson and her husband investigate another murder mystery in Treasure Cove. It surprised me, however, that they put as much effort into the case as they did. The murder victim was a white collar criminal. He had gotten off with a short stint in prison after committing a Ponzi scheme. Many of this criminal's investors lost a lot of money and their retirement savings. Without giving away the plot, I'll just say that I was angry that the police seemed more concerned about the rights of this criminal than about an angry investor. It seemed a bit far-fetched to me that law enforcement would bother with the convicted Ponzi scheming dirtbag. But the audiobook had a good plot. The narrator did a fairly decent job with the various characters and had a pleasant voice.

Great Read!

A dead released prisoner and a long lost father make this a great listen! Ins and outs and so many suspects! Loved it!
