Overall pretty helpful

I’m still in that terrified but starting to feel excited stage this book helped me to feel that I wasn’t alone or that my feelings weren’t that different from anyone else. At 35 and the last dad to be I feel like this book was more for someone mid twenties or at least the first guy in your group to be a dad. Still overall helpful and informative I would recommend this to others...

The most pointless way I've ever spent money. This book offers no actual information. Don't waste your money or time.

Great for guys that have no idea of what is pregnancy

Honestly I already knew about 80% of everything that was being taught in this book, but seeing how there are other people out there that have this type of view on family and fatherhood and how it affects their life made me more confident that everything would be okay. If you’re out here looking for any type on information possible on how to be a dad and take care of your pregnant girl, this book is perfect for you and it’ll teach you loads!!

Dude… just no

Cringey, awkward, very American.
Felt like it was written by a pregnant Lady, but read out by a man, so it seems
More believe-able.

References to ‘getting lucky’ and Dude just be be ‘you’ make you vomit.

Not as good as you think

When i listened to the sample i thought it would give me facts of pregnancy and how to over come them. maybe i have selective hearing but all i heard is. Dude do the house work dude do massage dude cook but still Dude be yourself too. some good information how your baby grows week to week but that information is on thr NHS website. overall you can just read most information online. also this makes me so scared more scared than i was before

Struggled to get through it

I hate to say it but this book was a huge disappointment. I cringed in discomfort every time “dude” or “bro” was used. Probably a good read for men who have zero knowledge of relationships or how pregnancy works section about sex was extra uncomfortable and felt juvenile to me. I Much preferred the expectant Father. Much more detail, felt like it was written for an adult man.

Candid and informative

This book was very candid and easy to listen to because it was written less clinically, and more easy to understand.
I did find the narrated was incredibly hard to listen to for more than 20-30mins at a time (might be great to put you to sleep)
The content was otherwise quite good, but very surface and simple, didn’t really get into it a lot, however was speaking both from experience and also provided some depth obtained by research.
