But with dangerous conditions and roving gangs, getting there seems like an impossible dream. It also seems like their only choice.

After the polar shift.

A little slow for me, I understand that this is a trilogy, but I don't think I'm interested enough to go for the other books. The story moved a little slow for me. and I did not find any character that I really liked that much.
This is an unbiased review of a book I received for free.

Good storyline but....

Hmmm... I hate to be negative because I think this is a good book. It was just so boring and I don't think it's due to the story but more due to the narrator. He was a little monotone... had to stop listening. Sorry.

Freezing Point

The first in the series and it is pretty good!I did not fall in love with any of the characters.I found Nathan rather childish for a grown man.I have no idea how dealing with a climate change apocolypse would affect a normal man. A good story. A great premise.

I am a huge fan of the flood of post apocalyptic fiction we have today. This was no exception. I love the story and the dedication to family. The fact that, knowing these areas since I drive over the road, I could imagine the hardships and dangers they faced. The story was wonderful, if I can only say one thing that isn't a rave review, it's that the narration left a bit to be desired. Other than that, great job. Pick this up if you are looking for a great PA fiction thrill ride!

First time I have seen this take on apocalyptic

I really liked this listen/read. The many characters were completely fleshed out. The story moved along nicely and believable pace. I found only one thing I was out of sorts with. It ended on a cliff-hanger! But that left me wanting more. I WILL be listening/reading the rest of this series. I highly recommend this book to all those that like Post-Apocalyptic stories.
