As good as the first book!

Above says it all, loving re-reading (by proxy) this series of books! Dean Koontz is a great author and sorely underrated.

the narrator was exceptional

the reading followed the books - i have already read the series and absolutely am enjoying the audio!

Fantastic!!

This is simply a must binge series. Don't let the description fool you into thinking this is a modern , rehashed and regurgitated twist of a classic. IT is completely riveting.

Masterpiece II.

How is it possible to write a sequel to Mary Shelley's classic? Dean Koontz has woven an intricate, oh-so-delicate, yet delicious story. The reader reads like he himself is having a great time, playing the parts, yet not drawing too much attention to himself.
I can see myself playing this several more times.

Great tweak on a classic!

I love the book. Dean Koontz has taken the original analog man and turned him into a modern day superhero with the ability to do inter-dimensional travel. And all the talk of New Orleans food has me hankering for a po boy! Great series!

Hooked

Finished the second book now but but the other two so I can see what happens

Where is the rest of it?

I was surprised as the end abruptly stopped in the middle of what seemed to be just another chapter, left you hanging that is for sure! Eagerly waiting for the rest of it!!

Entertaining

This is the second book of the series and is just as thrilling and bizarre as the first.

Life finds a way

Gone is the police procedural from book 1; instead, book 2 follows the Jurassic Park playbook. As with every madman who thinks he can control the life he creates, Victor is too full of himself to realize all the ways that his creations are getting away from him. On the other hand, Carson’s and Michael’s eyes are now open-or so they think, and they prepare for war. But even they aren’t ready for all the horror coming their way. This one brings a crazy new-race Fred and Ginger terminator crew and a bonkers, Lord of the Flies meets orgy at the dump that is a literal body-dump (I did say bonkers, right?). Entertaining, fast paced, horrifying in a They Live, pulpy kind of way. If book 1 sets the stage, book 2 is the mutation breaking loose... but it’s only the beginning of the end. Book 2 stops virtually mid-sentence. A fun ride, but short. Glad I got the series during a stacked sale.
