Gordon Korman knows the types of books kids like to read, considering he published his first novel at the ripe old age of 12. Since then, his unique brand of offbeat humor has helped him become a New York Times best-selling author. In this third tale featuring Griffin “The Man with the Plan” Bing, a tough new principal gets on Griffin’s last nerve, and the feeling is mutual. When a valuable ring is stolen from a school display case, Griffin realizes he’s been framed for the crime. Things go from bad (alternative school) to worse (electronic anklet) quickly. And for the first time ever, Griffin has no plan.

This is the best book so far, the suspense was the best, the story and tension was much better here. The creative ways Bing’s friends got to lead a lot of what happened was nice and good change of pace. The ending was the best so far, and it all wrapped up very well. The only complaint was near the end, (without spoiling) there was a reveal that happened similar to how a cold open would. Where it tells you the out come first then everything that lead up to that point. I think it made it a bit confusing and hard to follow, and kinda ruined the tension. Otherwise this was a great novel and a fitting addition to this series

The improvement to the tension and story structure

My 7 and 10-year-old granddaughters and I are absolutely loving this series and this book, Framed, has been the best so far!! The characters and their various strengths and personalities are fun to observe. We were enthralled and couldn’t wait to listen as the story built to a great ending, thank you Mr Korman!

Friends, mystery and fun!
