I personally like Foss' growth throughout this series, watching him learn to overcome his curse and his fight to be worthy of Lucy. I also love how Mase protects and grows into who he was ment to be. Though his love for his sister becomes a bit more than brother and sister on his end he is still one of my favorite characters. Mase's strength to overcome everything that has been against him his whole life is so great to see. He never let it change who he is.

Mary Twomey made me care about Foss. I loved this book. This is my new favorite series. I loved the narrator. She brought humor and excitement to the story and I loved her accents.
