As a self-published author and a copy-editor/proofreader who sometimes helps other self-published writers, I am absolutely fangirling over this excellent audiobook I listened to on self-publishing. This audiobook is very short—not even 2 hours long—and there's not an ounce of fluff here. The author takes you from finding a marketable idea to writing the book yourself or having it ghostwritten to publishing on KDP to creating an audiobook on ACX to marketing. Every single sentence is on point, laying out specific strategies—right down to vetted websites and other information about companies that can help with different aspects of self-publishing—and providing tips gleaned from experience. Courses out there teach similar information but cost upwards of thousands of dollars. In such a short book, of course, not everything is handed to you on a silver platter, but the author has certainly provided vital information about what to think about and research on the path to self-publishing excellent nonfiction.
