Suddenly, what was supposed to be a quick and easy task turns into something far more dangerous.
With a Rivan army now moving to flank the imperial army to the west, Stiger makes a desperate decision. Short on rations, and hopelessly outnumbered, he must find a way to delay the enemy so Third Legion can react to this dire threat before it is too late. The solution lies in Fort Covenant, a forgotten place with a history important not only to his people, but the elven nations as well.

One of the best books I’ve ever read. I wish I didn’t have to stop reading. The audible books are amazing too and Steven Brand is an excellent narrator, he’s transports you into the author’s world!!

Really good
This book is very good. It is however far to short. Really all three of these books should be one book or a publisher pack. Also I didn’t like the amount of hardship and misfortune the author forced upon the farmer’s widow they rescued. She was rescued from captivity but she was raped and widowed, then she becomes close with a legionnaire in Stiger’s company but then he is killed in battle...honestly felt quite bad for her. But all in all. The book was still good

I just fell in love with your fusion of historically accurate Roman Society & Miltary practices, Mainstream fantasy world is just so epic! I Don't Know about others but I've always wished for something like this and you made it a reality Thank you!!
Also If you're wondering who you are tied with it is Aleron Kong creator of The Land I'm A big time gamer and Love Fantasy and he is hands down the king of Litrpg just like your the King of History/Fantasy Fusion If you could put all three together somehow I would legitimately die of happiness!!!

This is the 6th book I have listened to by the author; and it brings new depths without any repetition. Stiger and the 7th are pursued hotly from the start; and forced into many gritty, almost dark, situations and battles. The action is intense, bloody, and sometimes heartbreaking. If you enjoy historical military stories, you will love this. The low fantasy element is just icing on the cake!

About time!
Another excellent story with the right narrator! My only complaint was it was to short.
