I was looking forward to listening to this book but when I began I realized the narrator’s voice grated on me and I stopped listening. Nearly every word ended strangely. I gave it another chance, and although i don’t care for the narration i overcome my reluctance. The book is fascinating, and not a subject i’m familiar with, Despite being over my head, the author made his explanations understandable to me. Appreciated the style and concepts.

Thought Provoking Well Researched Discussion of Earth History in Relation to our Sun’s Activity

What Dr. Schoch has to say in this updated book about solar activity, its effects on the earth and a solar induced dark age(s) makes great good common sense in light of the evidence from all around the world.

I would go so far as to state that in large measure the evidence has been there in front of our eyes in many places all along! We just didn’t grasp what we were looking at.

Dr. Schoch has taken a lot flack and opposition over the years (a lifetime really) from archaeologists especially surrounding his legitimate, discoveries and hypothesis surrounding the Sphinx. They seem to have just ignored what he has to say about Easter Island and currently sunken areas of the ocean.

Most archaeologists, and one very famous and influential one in particular, criticized and openly dismissed Dr. Schoch’s findings and ideas attempting to shut off all discussion. Perhaps because he controlled access to sites, others simply continued to stretch to make discoveries fit the accepted institutional narrative. In any case, he and other archaeologists have in general and historically lacked the scientific and engineering background to be able to truly understand what they were seeing or finding in the geological evidence. And they have been more than slow to recognize the validity of results from advances in technology, probably because they couldn’t grasp the technology! A degree in archaeology historically speaking does not include a lot of science or engineering.

Today, it is presented as big news that there are voids under the monuments of Giza or that some parts may be older than we have thought for hundreds of years. Yet Dr. Schoch and company determined that there were voids using earlier technology years ago. He saw that what was being put forth didn’t make sense. The difference between his work and today is that we can just see more clearly with recent technology.

Dr. Schoch and his wife who he credits, are clearly excellent researchers and think clearly about what they have learned. It is sad that his work has been marginalized by his less scientific, yet often heard and influential, counterparts looking to protect their turf.

He is not in fact a guy with fringe theories regardless of what is commonly stated. Nor is he a scientific lightweight. ( look him up). He is in fact better educated than many of his critics.

I strongly recommend this book for a thoughtful, common sense look at and evaluation of what we now know.
