Perfection!

I am so happy I got this book on audible because the narration definitely elevated this book even more. I wasn’t exaggerating when I say Perfection! The writing, plot, and smut are all 5 ⭐️s. This is my first Caroline Peckham, Susanne Valenti book and I can’t wait to add more to my TBR. I mainly read books on mg kindle and occasionally I will listen to an audio book, if you’re trying to decide DEFINITELY listen to this one. Narration is amazing in it. Highly recommend

Good story, mediocre narration

The story itself is engrossing, with lots of suspense and surprising turns. Unfortunately, the (really) bad and inconsistent accents distract from a good story. (BTW, Troy, infinitessimal has 6 syllables, not 5.) I enjoyed reading the book much more than listening to it.

One of my Favs but why is the FMC so immature for being in her mid 20s. It’d make more sense if she was 18/19.

3 things that bother me every time. But overall a good book. 1. Her inner monologue & Choices for her age & coming from the family she does is like wtf???
2. I absolutely hate how she treated Chruch&Frank especially in the start of the book when they gave zero reasons for how she treated/talked to them. (This is one reason the why choose trope is my least favorite bc very rarely does a author make it where the FMC actually loves all MMCs equally & treats them like they’re their own people 😤)
3. Her husband had such a dramatic personality change in 2 hrs & her knowledge of the identical twins, that she didn’t even try to figure it out. The author just gave her a victim mentality with low “intelligence”. Yea she can fight & have a sharp tongue but it’s bc she grew up in a mafia family. It’s the only reason for that.

I really wish authors would actually start writing FMCs that aren’t just irrational,unintelligent, naive, ignorant, selfish, petty etc. just bc a author can make them fight it’s like we’re just suppose to always over look the same 5 traits FMCs have in common in almost every book. It’s honestly sad that’s how women are always portrayed.

A fantastic book and cool series concept!!

The narrator’s did a fantastic job. The story was fun and was careful not to give away spoilers for the rest of the series. I have to go back and check out some of the other families to see how other authors participated in the series. Again I love the concept and it will keep the stories from getting repetitive.
