cute but rushed

charming story but felt like it should've been longer? the end felt rushed and I wished we had more.

Adorable

I truly enjoyed this story I loved the ending as well. The voices were casted perfectly and the pace was well read 10/10. Definitely purchasing a physical copy for my collection.

Better off with the book

This is an adorable cozy fantasy and I adored the story. I did not like the female narrator, she annunciates every word and I had a hard time listening to her. I put it on 1.6 speed and it helped a little bit. If you are interested in this story, pick up the physical book.

Love this story but the performance ruined it

I was so excited to see that this amazing book was being made into an audio book but I was pretty disappointed listening to it. Both voice actors only read their respective chapters rather than voicing their characters throughout. On top of that their voices were mostly very monotone, especially when doing the voices of their counterpart. I would recommend just reading this amazing book the old fashioned way.

Good Story, Audio Meh

Really enjoyed the story, but the narrators were lacking, especially the female. Very little emotion was heard throughout the reading & sometimes it was very monotone.

The story vs the audio production

The story itself was decent however the audio production was subpar. There was at least 5 instances of the narrator repeating a the previous line but this wasn’t edited out. There was also very noticeable shift in the voice quality where scenes were re-recorded and spliced in. Normally once or twice in an audiobook and I would barely notice but there was just to many to not mention it here.

obnoxious narrator

Story wise, I liked this book. It has two different narrators for the character POV. The male voice actor was decent and pleasant to listen to, but the female narrator was exclusive breathy. This wouldn't have been as big of an issue if her performance overall wasn't the perfect real life example of a run-on sentence. Even slowing down the audio wasn't enough to detract from this issue. I will probably try this book again later in a physical form over audiobook.
