Finding Closure
Melanie Carlotti lost her husband and child in a tragic accident. After a difficult recovery that included a cornea transplant, she's haunted by dreams. She needs to understand their meaning. To do this she contacts a physic which leads her to Zack Morgan and his daughter. Melanie is hired as his interior decorator. Will she be able to get the answers she so desperately needs? Melanie still grieves the loss of her precious daughter. Her intense pain touched me. I loved that she could open her heart to others after what she had suffered. Zack is successful and charming, but he hasn't come to terms with the loss of his pregnant wife. He is a wonderful father to Amy. She's his precious child. I admired him for his love and nurturing. There is attraction between Melanie and Zack. I enjoyed when they were together, but I was concerned how he would react when he learned the reason Melanie was there. Do they have a future together? The paranormal element adds a special twist. I found it intriguing. I felt that Amy could sense her mother in Melanie and it gave me chills. Karen Rose Smith has written a romantic and emotional story. I love the warmth and tenderness between the characters. The dialogue and setting add such depth. Forever In Her Eyes is an uplifting novel that touched my heart. The audio version intensified this emotional story. The narration by Kristin Watson Heintz Is powerful and made me feel as if I were right there with the characters. I enjoy how an audiobook increases my enjoyment.
