Seventeen-year-old Sarah's life is turned upside down when her single mom is sent to jail. She's forced to move, leaving behind everything she's ever known, including her best friend, Sydney. Lost and bitter in a new school, her one goal is to save money and move back home.

Then she meets Angel Moreno. Enigmatic and gorgeous, Angel is almost too good to be true. Except for one thing - his archaic belief that guys and girls can never be "just friends". The problem? Sarah's best friend, Sydney, is not a girl.

With their unexpected romance intensifying, how long can Sarah keep Angel in the dark about the guy waiting for her back home?

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I guess it is time well spent. I rather listen to it, than read it. It will be annoying to read how a girl can lie about the gender of her best friend for the duration of a book without throwing that book against a wall. Can't throw my IPad though.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It is okay. The main strain in the plot was too drawn out for me though.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes.

Too Much Drama for so Little

Presented through the smooth writing of Reyes, the narrators introduce a new series. The sense of humor infused in the story and the sweet loving moments, all combined with a sense of family, makes this book one readers will wish they're a part of.

Sweet Moreno Brothers

This is definitely not a Y A series. Unless you want to promote underage drinking and sex. Okay that being said it is a typical high school romance stuff that you did in school stuff that I did stuff we don't want to kids doing in school LOL. Definitely an Alpha male even one so young can't wait to see what the rest of the Mereno brothers stories hold. That first love that first time the intense emotions it's all there for you to experience and to help you remember yours.

Great start to a series

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The book, absolutely!

What other book might you compare Forever Mine to and why?

The rest of the Moreno series or the 5th Street Series. Because they are by the same author and Elizabeth Reyes writes about alfa males really well.

What didn’t you like about Tanya Eby’s performance?

Her voices for the characters were almost comical. The Moreno Family is hispanic and she makes the men sound like steriotypical white surfers. She makes all the girls sound like little children. It is almost impossible to tell the characters voices apart. If it wasn't legitimately published, I would have thought this was a joke.

Was Forever Mine worth the listening time?

No!!! Please dont waste money on this audio book. I used one of my free credits and I feel like it was a complete waste!

Any additional comments?

I want to make a clarification: The story in the book is great! The entire Moreno series is great. This audio book is just completely unexpected and bad in my opinion.

Just awful....
