It was enjoyable but not my favorite from this author. I’ve loved other books of hers. It was sweet and I’m glad it was short. The characters were likable. It had a bit of instalove, but it was manageable to listen to. I liked that they both came from good families. I just didn’t think the book was very gripping, but sometimes light and lovely is okay. My biggest complaint is the female narrator. I didn’t love the tone of her voice. It’s a bit whiny, and her male voice is pretty bad. I didn’t enjoy the sexy scenes when she was narrating. Aiden Snow, on the other hand, was great…as always. His voice is spectacular and made up for hers.

Okay, but not Brynne’s best…

Another amazing story about another carpino, what could be better? Lauren and Aiden gave another wonderful performance! I hope this series continues. Brynne Asher is one of my favorite authors and she did another amazing job!
