Amazingly beautiful!

Oh my!! Callahan “Cowboy” Whiskey and Sullivan “Sully” Tate were just amazing. Melissa Foster has knocked this one out of the park! From the moment their story started you could just feel the angst, passion, love, and every other emotion you can think come off the page. I think Cowboy has just become my favorite Whiskey at Redemption Ranch so far. Callahan “Cowboy” Whiskey is a born protector. From the moment he sees Sully when his family takes her in/rescues her to keep her safe, Cowboy has done nothing but protect and try his best not to fall for her. Easier said than done. Sully found the strength to escape an oppressive cult where she was held captive for the last 20 years/since she was 4 yrs old. With the help of everyone at Redemption Ranch Sully begins to heal and find her own “voice” and confidence. Will Cowboy claim his true love or will he allow her to leave the ranch for what he believes her life should become? Will Sully accept Cowboy’s decision or will she use that new found voice of hers to fight for her heart? Now, let’s talk about the audiobook! His voice is just so smooth yet rugged. Meg Sylvan does a great job as Sully. Both of these narrators bring Cowboy/Callahan and Sully to life so perfectly. Love big families that love big? Another sweet romance from my favorites author! Cowboy and Sully’s story is sad but happy. She found a true protector in the love of her life!

I need a Cowboy

Audiobook Review: Let me tell you that I thought I needed a Cowboy before I listened to this book, now I know I need one. This book broke my heart and then put it back together with the help of the very special people at Redemption Ranch. The narrators, Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow, took a story that is full of heartbreak, hope, friendships, family, and love and brought it to life. They were able to make Cowboy (Callahan) and Sully come to life as I read their story. Listening to the book (I read it first) brought the book to an entirely new level for me. I could feel the pain and the hope that Sully was living and I knew that Cowboy would move the world to make her find her best life.



eBook Review: Sully disappeared when she was younger, and her sister has never given up hope for her. When she ends up at Redemption Ranch, Cowboy cannot stay away. His need to protect her is so strong but taking care of her is not easy. He also must let her finally make her own decisions.

Sully and Cowboy are instantly drawn together. Sully needs someone to show her how to live life outside of the cult and Cowboy is the perfect man for the job. Cowboy can be intimidating but to Sully he is soft, gentle, sweet, and oh so sexy. I enjoyed how gentle he was with her while not changing himself. He stays true to his rough demeanor, stays true to his horseback riding, motorcycle riding self, protective self while showing his softer side to Sully.

For the Love of Whiskey made me cry a couple times but mostly it made me blush and smile. I even laughed a few times. This story is so sexy and steamy, but it is a story of being brave, finding yourself, and finding your soul mate.

I recommend ALWAYS finding a Melissa Foster book, For the Love of Whiskey included. I have never been disappointed.

Amazing love story

This is one of my favorites for 2023. The pain the is mixes with the healing for Sully is so well done. We watch as she struggles to escape her tormentors and where she finds her new home. Cowboy, Calihan Whiskey gives her more than her newfound freedom, he lets her learn to live. Sully finds herself amongst the horses and Whiskey family and discovers her strength and identity. It is a fantastic story.

Meg Sylvan, and Aiden Snow did a great job narrating this emotional and sometimes heartwrenching story and bringing it full circle to show you can live after you have suffered.

I loved it and hope you do too.

Whiskeys are my friends!

I love all of the Whiskey series books! And, this one was no exception! So, who’s the next one going to be about? I think it should be Birdie!!

3rd person internal dialog

When the characters are speaking to each other, it's on 1st person, however, ALL internal dialog (and it's a lot) is read in 3rd person. Its distracting to listen to.

Aiden Snow 🔥voice like silk! His character, Cowboy, was protective and swoony.

Meg does awesome with all voice except Sully's voice (the MFC), it soundes high pitched, whiney and made her sound like a 12 year old. It was hard to listen to.

Loved It!

Cowboy and Sully together were so beautiful. loved the narration. I literally couldn't stop listening until it was finished!

So real and emotional.

Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow narrate this amazing book. Melissa Foster has once again shown us fantastic characters that she brings to life as the story of Sully and Cowboy unfolds. I was patiently waiting for this one and I was thrilled. It brought tears and laughter and broke my heart as I read about Sully’s journey to finding herself. Cowboy was such a supportive and protective person you couldn’t help but fall in love with him. Every girl needs her own Cowboy. Melissa Foster deserves all the accolades for the sensitivity in this difficult and healing story. Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow made this book even more realistic with the characters they brought to life. Both of them excelled in using so many different voices for the characters it made for a seamless and emotional listening experience. I highly recommend this book in print or audio.

The way Callahan made her feel protected, loved and safe all at the same time.

I love this book by Melissa. She has this canny ability to pull you into the store.
I love how the narrators bought the story to life. They done a really great job.
