Lack of world building and underage fmc

I mean my title pretty much sums up my problems. The fmc is 17 and I just can’t with that especially when there’s relationships with older men. It grosses me out.

Also while the magic system and world were fresh and interesting the lack of explanation about how everything works and what it was, was frustrating. I shouldn’t have to download the ebook to consult the glossary just to know what things mean. I should be able to get it from the book through explanation or context.

The narrators were fantastic but I just couldn’t stick it out to the end despite their wonderful performances.

Amazing.

Jinapher J. Hoffman has such a beautiful writing style. Love the world and character building, seamless for the first book. Narrators executed the narration! This audiobook kept me on the edge of my seat, and in suspense! There is definitely more to come. Loving it all around!
