Great book.

This was really a good book. I really enjoyed listening to it in audible. This book was action packed and exciting. I can’t wait for the next book.

Loved it

From the very first page, when a strange pregnant woman is found in the ocean, I was captivated by this well written story. The narrator is great as well. Give it a listen you won’t be disappointed!

The book was better than expected!!

This is the 1st Book of a Trilogy….The first couple of chapters were a tad slow (due to character development), but well worth it in the end. Can’t wait to read the other 2 books!!

Brilliant, I need more!

I need more!! I went into this blind with this new to me author and narrator. And boy, was I surprised and impressed. It was more than I expected.
I may have picked this based on the stunningly beautiful cover and the genre I was in the mood for, but the gem hiding inside kept me coming back for more.

This had a great gradual build up into an EPIC storyline where I didn’t want to stop. The details were graphic, the characters were unique, the world building was on par.
I’m getting ready to purchase the paperback to read it again and share with my daughter. I need someone to talk to about it.

Darren took an already amazing story and brought it alive to a level that exceeded my expectations. The detail and diversity he acted out had me visualizing the scenes and characters perfectly. All I can say is the author and narrator are meant to work together. They compliment each other nicely.

I’m now anxiously waiting for the next in The Chronicles of the 13th Tribe. I need more now!
I highly recommend this read/listen.

Why is it worth it?

If you like X-Men, Black Panther, and Twilight flavored with a little witchcraft, then you’ll love For Blood and Glory. Each scene played like a movie in my head. Finished the entire book in one day. Can’t wait for part two.

I don't usually entertain this genre, however it drew me in from the 1st chapter & kept me captived until the last chapter. Now I'm disappointed that I finished listening to the book. I can't wait until part 2. I also liked the creativity of the narrator.

Absolutely loved it! Can't wait to read the sequels! This needs to be made into a movie!
