A creepy and fun collection of stories

What was there not to enjoy; some of favourite authors, writing in two of my favourite genres with two of my favourite narrators.
All storylines were well developed so that you were drawn to the central characters. They all stand up well in their own right.
I hope that another collection will be forthcoming.

Thoroughly enjoyable...

I enjoy M/M mystery-romance, Josh Lanyon being one of my favorite authors so I was super excited to listen to this anthology of stories. Eight stories from eight different authors. What a collection. I enjoyed all of the stories, some more than others and as is the case. When I started listening to A Country for Old Men...I said to myself, I'm not going to like this one. Yeah, it was probably my favorite and I actually shed a tear or two. Excellent writing all around...some better than others but all worth listening to and allowing yourself to get wrapped up in the intrigue, mystery, and romance.

Excellent dual naration!

Story wise I feel each mystery worked well some stories I enjoyed more then others, with Lanyon's Stranger in the House being my favorite (ok, Country for Old Men was not necessarily enjoyable it was pretty bleak but it ended with a sense of hopefulness) and Kale and Joel are awesome as always trading off on each story.
I feel like Kale is such a quintessential Lanyon narrator (can't wait for I Buried a Witch) so I was pleased Joel got to read Stranger in the House. :D

Mystery-Romance

Long and packed full of mysteries, with a little romance on the side.
Some very very good. Some less good. But all over an interesting listen

Brilliant COLLECTION !!!!!

This was by far the best collection of stories I've heard! Each story was interesting and extremely well written. Joel and Kale did a fantastic job! Highly recommend this to lovers of a good mystery.
