There’s a prominent threat on the block...and he might just be sharing Stormy Morgan’s roof.

She’s a new witch, but she has a big problem...and it talks. Her new roommate Krankle may look cute, but he’s a huge pain in her posterior. He’s also hiding something. Before she can focus on that, however, the unthinkable happens.

On the highway leading out of town, three vehicles are involved in an accident. One belongs to Harold Lautner, the former head of the senior center who went missing months before. He was presumed dead in a hunting accident, but now the truck he was driving at the time he fell off the face of the earth is front and center...and emergency crews say there’s nobody to save inside.

Hunter Ryan, Stormy’s boyfriend and a police officer in Shadow Hills, is chasing lead after lead but they’re going nowhere...and then things get worse.

A magical shadow, the type Stormy isn’t ready to fight, is taking over the town. The Winchester witches, who are eager to help, can’t offer much in the way of aid because their magic is being affected by the shadow. That leaves Stormy to solve things, and she has no idea how to do it.
Stormy is eager to learn but the curve is steep. Alone, she knows she will fail. That means her new friends have to pitch in and help...including Krankle.

Someone is lying. Someone is playing games. The answer to the question might be closer than it seems.

Stormy has a fight on her hands. Will she survive long enough to answer all the questions, or is she doomed to disappointment...and death?

Series continues to hold the listener’s attention with plenty of mystery magic suspense humor and a touch of romance. Storyline well written and narration is the best. Can’t wait for the next book

Love This Series

I have read most of Amanda M. Lee’s series and finally got around to this one. I think I like this one best of all except the Midwest Witches in Hemlock Cove. I’m hoping to see a few more added to this set.

I love love love this series

This series is a bit of a slow burn though quite nice. This installment though raises it to a new level. Very enjoyable!

I stumbled upon the 1st book because I like mysteries. And I have to say this is the most enjoyable series. I love all the characters and how they interact. Grandpa & Stormy have a great relationship. And I love that Stormy doesn't need someone to rescue her. She's an independent woman. Hopefully they'll be another one. Kudos to the author!!

Another great story!! 👏

I really enjoyed this series very much. Loved the characters, the plot twists and turns and the performance mostly. One thing I found very annoying throughout all of this series, is the performer did not enunciate the "T" or the syllables in "HunTer". Ran it all together to sound like "HunNer". Otherwise, I reccomend.

Enjoyed this series very much.1 annoyance..

Follow the crumbs is the best so far. The plot was well played! Kudos Amanda Lee!

This is a fun series. The characters, both from another Amanda Lee series, and this new set of lovable witches just light up my laughter center! Highly recommended!

I’ll admit to some confusion as this story was apparently a bit of a crossover with a previous series involving the Winchesters. Things became more clear by book’s end but I felt a bit conflicted as I had not read the prior series. I do think Stormy is becoming more confident with her special abilities but has more to learn in the future. And then there’s the “kitten”. Not wishing to elaborate further, I’m curious as to where that situation will lead. At least the Stormy & Hunter relationship seems to be going well. All’s well that ends well, for the moment anyway.

Solid continuation of a series and the narrator does an incredible job making the men and women in Stormy’s life seem real and distinct.

I solidly recommend this series and this witchy installment

Good story, well acted
