Awesome

What a great listen. This drew me in immediately and kept me listening. What a twisted plot , and the perpetrator wasn't afraid to leave bodies behind all in the name of selfishness and greed without a care for anyone else. Diabolic! Eleanor's natural nosiness helped solve the crimes, and poor Logan gets dragged along for support. Lol. Amazing. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. Meghan did an exceptional job with voices (and I commend her efforts) that greatly added to my enjoyment of the characters and storyline. I recommend this book.

Love this Series!

This series keeps getting better with each book. This mystery starts with a cute kitten named Fluffy being found with a flip flop in her mouth and her microchip pointing to her owner.  As Ellie and the crew start the search for her owner, they are finding out a lot about her, but not actually finding her.  I liked that Landon was with Ellie during her investigation in this book instead of at home asking her how the search was going.  I love the close-knit group of friends and family in these books and how they all help to try and solve the mysteries.  As always, there was a lot going on in this mystery and Ellie and Landon found themselves in a few dangerous situations.  I really loved this book and look forward to the next one.  Meghan Kelly is a wonderful narrator and is the reason I started listening to this series.  Her voice is perfect and gives a different voice to each character that fits their personality.  She makes listening to the book very enjoyable.

Intriguing, exciting, entertaining, PERFECT!

When an adorable Scottish Fold kitten is found dirty and bedraggled, with a chewed flip flop clutched in her teeth, Ellie, Landon, and the extended Silver Cat Rescue family have NO idea of the far reaching conspiracy afoot in “Fluffy, Flip Flops, and Foul Play: Silver Circle Cat Rescue Mysteries, Book 7”! This one gets tense, beautifully so, with a clever, involved, delightfully intriguing plot that sees our amateur detectives chasing leads and dodging the nefarious at a breakneck pace! The characters created to make this story work, and good lawd does it work, are plentiful, varied, imaginative and span the full spectrum from quirky “I love ‘em” to “how qwik can I get me a permit” nefarious GOLD! They are all fully defined and not only interacted with each other, but were also “integrated” seamlessly into the world of our series regulars, so much so that a few could even become recurring or new regulars! Our existing series regulars continue to grow and evolve, as do their relationships, beautifully, naturally and realistically! I love how their lives intertwine both with the shelter, and with each other! I love how they deal with challenges, and face real life issues like WE face! I particularly love how our author is able to realistically and sensitively incorporate these issues and challenges into the story in a “fit for all manner”! I know I am being a bit, well vague, but I don’t want to give away plot details and ruin anything for future listeners! On to the performance… The narration bringing the authors vision to life is first rate performance perfection! The voices chosen so perfectly fit the characters, that they bring a PERFECT picture alive in my mind! Fluffy melted my heart! There is another character I can’t name here (as it would be a huge spoiler), that brought me to tears at one point! I have no doubt you’ll know WHO when you get there, AND you’ll be reaching for a tissue! Another biggie … I loved that as certain characters “evolved”, subtle vocal nuances indicated that evolution, making the change not only crystal clear, but giving that eye opening “ah ha” moment intended by the author! THIS is what clear, convincing narration is all about, and I loved it! I loved the story, I loved the performance, I loved it ALL! Five fantastic stars!

Kittens help solve the mystery

If you are looking for a great mystery in a quaint setting with cute little kittens, this is for you. Well written mystery and enjoyable read.

Looking forward to my next adventure in this series and read by this narrator.

The books in the series keep getting better!

I love this series by Leanne Leeds because it contains so many of my favorite things - cats, a cafe, strong independent women, magic and mysteries! In this book, a microchipped kitten (Fluffy) is found and Ellie is trying to return her to her owner, a local boutique owner and businesswoman. Unfortunately, Ellie and her friends are having no luck reuniting the kitten to the her mom, who seems to have disappeared from her lakeside mansion. The amateur sleuths persevere and find themselves in some dangerous situations. The narration by Meghan Kelly is absolutely wonderful. Her ability to create unique voices for all the characters and animals is incredible. Her performance provides the perfect voice, inflection and attitude when needed and brings the story to the next level. There are not enough superlatives to describe Ms. Kelly’s performance. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

Great Cozy Mystery Talking Kittens Excellent Listen 🎧

This was a great read. This series gets better and better. This one has a cute little kitten named Fluffy with a flip flop in his mouth found. Ellie and the gang must find out about the mystery of his owner. I listened to the audiobook Meghan Kelly as always does a great job with the narration. 🎧🎧

Exciting!

What a fun story to listen too! When you have cars standing on a magic platter and speaking English to humans, you know this was fun. Ellie and Landon were hot on the trail of some bad guys, they found themselves cornered.
Meghan Kelly is a master narrator! She makes the story that much more interesting. I love how Meghan can do all the voices of the characters, including males. It made for an exciting listen.

I Loved It!

I love this series every new book seems better than the last and this one is no exception. This time it's the turn of Fluffy a sweet Scottish Fold kitten to star in a mystery that starts when she is found in a very bedraggled state with a flip-flop in her mouth and pleads with Ellie to find Lisa her mummy who has disappeared while being chased by a man! Ellie and her crew start the search for Lisa using information obtained from Fluffy and her microchip but even though they find out a lot about her but don't find her. This time Ellie was accompanied by Landon as she investigated instead of him staying home and asking how the search was going which I quite liked.

This is a book you could listen to as a standalone, but if you've listened to the earlier books you will already know the close-knit group of friends and family and how they all help to try and solve the mysteries but don't worry if you haven't because these books are written in such a way that you can enjoy them anyway. There are surprises, excitement, and mystery, as well as some scary moments, it's very entertaining. Leanne Leeds has written another entertaining mystery.

As usual, a lot was going on in this mystery and both Ellie and Landon found themselves in a few unexpected and dangerous situations. I'm not going to say anymore except do download and listen to this very enjoyable story beautifully narrated by Meghan Kelly she's a wonderfully talented narrator whose voice is perfect for all the different characters. I love how she gives each one depth to their personality. I love listening to the books she adds a certain something making the stories more enjoyable.
