Better every time!

I read "Floyd" when it first came out in print last year. Listening on Audible was even better! The narrator brought so much humor to the story.
I have read the other books in the Snake in the Willows series and I love them all. Listening to "Floyd" again made me realize there were more connections between the books than I had caught the first time.
But no matter whether you read the whole series or not, "Floyd" is a story of love, loyalty and doing the right thing....and possibly leaving a trail of destruction.
Everyone should read this book. It's funny, sweet, and action packed!
A great story and a great performance.
I recommend it!

Fantastic story of magic

This story was well written and narrated and I gave it a chance because it sounded different and so glad I did it really surprised me and it’s well worth getting and listening to

What The Actual Fluff is going on here?

A brilliantly conceived story that blends aspects of Taken and Ted with a bit of magic and mayhem. While centered around the well-being of a young kidnapped girl, this wall-breaking narration involves a vigilante teddy bear with a rescue mission, and is definitely geared toward adults. Floyd won't be stopped, and as he picks up a few characters along the way, the fate of the girl, and the reason for her abduction hang in their brave balance. Voices by Jo Makin are genuinely fun and delightful, expressing emotive linguistic talent especially under stress. Humorous and mildly raucous action throughout.
