Flames of Valor is the premier installment in the epic fantasy trilogy The Path of Ascension. The story focuses on a heroic pair, Navara and Erick, who each have their own flaws to overcome in addition to fighting the darkness that is creeping over the land. She allies herself with the crowned prince of Tarien, Erick Dryadson. Together they battle an invading hoard with a powerful dark sorcerer. Navara’s reckless free spirit clashes with Erick’s formal political station. Along their journey, they discover that the threats run deeper than they could have ever imaged and the stakes are high.
