Publisher's Summary has small error

First let me say how much I enjoyed this book.

One small correction. The Publisher's Summary says "As one of New York's Finest" where Cash is a firefighter, but the NYFD men are called "New York's Bravest," it is the NYPD that is called New York's Finest. Can see a non-New Yorker wrote this summary!

Super Hot!!

Oh my I love this book. Who doesn’t love a hot fireman. This book is about Siena Remington and Cash Ryder. Cash rescued Siena in the middle of a snow storm when her rental car slid off the road. There was a little love/hate going on at first. Which made for a great passion when they finally got together. Siena’s job put some stress on the relationship when she had to “date” someone for her job. Another great job by Melissa Foster. BJ Harrison does and awesome job on narration.

Love or Money

Cash Ryder and Sierra Remington are my new favorite couple. I loved how they first met, which is my way of saying they did not hit it off with instant attraction. Melissa Foster writes such engaging and likable characters. Sierra is a model while Cash is a firefighter. Both have issues and insecurities. I loved how they got their priorities in line. This book is full of so much realism, humor, poignant and tender moments. I really enjoy how BJ Harrison performs the characters in the book. He delivers so much emotion and adds distinguishable voices for the characters. This story was time well spent listening and worth a credit.

Flames of Love

Siena Remington is a high-profile model. Her career is going strong, but her love life is lacking. She wants that all-consuming love and affection like her brothers have with their girlfriends. The guys she’s been dating are all falling short.

Cash Ryder is a NYC firefighter. He loves what he does but when he cannot rescue an old man from a burning building, the guilt eats him up inside and be becomes reckless on the job. When he rescues Siena after her car skidded off the road, he is instantly attracted to her but doesn’t realize who she is until he sees her in a magazine dressed only in pink panties. When they are paired together for the annual fireman calendar shoot, the attraction between them is undeniable. As their relationship builds, Siena feels she may have found her happily ever after with Cash. Cash knows he has found his in Siena.

When Siena’s agent convinces her that “fake dating” a famous athlete will secure her future in the modeling industry, Cash tries to be supportive but seeing the staged pictures of them in the newspapers and online, is more than he can handle. When she’s offered a huge contract with a sporting goods company with the stipulation she continue to “fake date” the athlete, Cash decides he cannot make her choose between him and the contract, so he plans to break it off with her. When Siena finally realizes what she will be losing if she lost Cash, her priorities in life have changed.

Sparks unite

Stubborn…this work could easily be used to describe both of these characters. Cash is a fireman who is always prepared, always watching out for others. But he is also withdrawn and not himself after a recent situation at work. Siena is a model and is not the best at preparation and planning. She gets in her car to visit a friend in a snow storm and ends up off the road needing to be saved by none other than Cash. Once over the shock of the rescue, Siena returns to her feisty self. Even though they both felt the initial spark, they avoided it due to their initial stubbornness. That is until they are thrown together during a firehouse calendar shoot where that spark turns into a full on fire.

It was so much fun trying to watch Cash and Siena resist each other! Melissa’s writing was so strong that I could FEEL the emotions between these two!
