It would have been good to read/hear the ex getting an eyeful of seeing the kiss and see Hannah moved on!

Heartwarming Story

Hannah has to attend her aunts funeral and her controlling girlfriend kicks her out for going. Now she’s inherited Nora’s house and faces a new life with not much money in her pocket. With the help of her contractor neighbor she sets off on a life changing adventure. Erotic romance. Great performance. Recommend.

the narrorater was great. I loved the story line as well! I recommend this book!!

just ok

I liked the idea that the lady who inherits the old house just happens to have a lesbian contractor as her only neighbor in a small town. In my head, there was potential. Somehow the story, the dialogue, and the narration didnt do much for me though. I never cared for any of the characters. Infact, there were times I didnt care if they got together because the contractor was quick tempered like a child and the lady who inherited the house left a verbally abusive relationship to have the new lady/contractor/new sex buddy belittle her by calling her Buttercup when she didn't want to touch the toilet when they made repairs together... the contractor was always a bit harsh for me and the other lady was slowly trying to grow a backbone with pushy relatives and ex but she spent most of the book. Wanted more from the book.

Felt it was missing 4 chapters in the middle

Maybe it was the narrator voice of the MCs but I felt that the poor lady went from a verbally abusive relationship to an emotionally abusive one. Maybe if the characters relationship was better built in the middle of the book to show love and care between the MC’s then I might like the story and feel the love between them.

it gives all the feels. the good, the sad, the anger at fictional characters who has done the MC wrong

Hot sex, blueberry muffins & a fixer-HER-upper!

What a great concept for a romance! Congratulations to the author for such creative writing! It’s a beautiful gift when the story of two lovers from years past, reaches into the present to open the hearts of two young women. One has sworn off relationships to avoid entanglements and pain! The other is seeking to find herself and claim her place on this earth! A good bit of detail is given to the steamy side of things between these two women and the chemistry between them is clear from the very beginning!

The author addresses some interesting story lines too. I actually like that there is a lesbian character who is far from perfect and is likely a covert narcissist. Stories where everyone is honorable ring false. And dealing with disgruntled relatives certainly adds another degree of realism. It’s wonderful grist for the writer’s mill and personal growth of our main characters.

Will justice prevail? Will our reluctant heir come to her senses? Will our androgynous heroine want more than one night? Inquiring minds will read more to find out!

Ugh

This narrator reads like this is a 1940’s crime novel, racing with urgency to the end of each sentence. It makes it difficult to rate the overall book.
