Lord Peter Wimsey could imagine the artist stepping back, the stagger, the fall down to where the pointed rocks grinned like teeth.

Narration awful

Dreadful attempt at Scottish accents by the narrator ruined this book! - I love Dorothy Sayers and Lord Peter but had to give up after the first 4 chapters as couldn’t stand it!

Intolerable phoney Scots accents

Jane McDowell's faux Scottish accents are unbearable; despite my interest in the story itself, I could not listen to this. Very grateful for audible's returns policy.
