An ok story for an afternoon of leisure

The story in this audiobook centers around firefighter Patrick Barre and Gini Claremont .
Though it had some mystery, with a “whodunit” it was about a romance of these two imperfect individuals.
Yes, it was predictable, and for me, longer than it needed to be, but ok for an afternoon of leisure.
