On Atata planet, inmates are abandoned with no guards and left to survive as best they can. What’s more, terraforming the planet did not take properly, so the world is a frozen wasteland. To save Inara, the Serenity crew must infiltrate the prison....

you can't take the sky from me

it wasnt my favorite of the five books but it was still an exciting and gripping tale that kept me on the edge of mt seat. I devoured it in 2 days.

Love this series

Every bit as good as the TV show. the voice actor absolutely nails it and the story is great.

Great damn Firefly story

Characters act as you expect, our multitude of loved ones. Good set-up scenery for plenty of wild space recklessness.
The reading is just perfect. You can hear the goo‘ ol‘ space characters right out of the series.
The best continuation possible.

Best in the Series So Far

I definitely enjoyed this book of the series. It was the best one I've listened to so far.

Classic Firefly

Good firefly story leading up to the Serenity movie. Could have been a movie in itself. Well written with some action and twist and surprise. Narration is good but doesn’t really separate voices of the characters very well but does a good job staying with how they project what they say

All the wonderful characterizations we love in a dire situation along with the modestly bumbling plan of action for them to play against. Can't beat the storuy

Best series in the verse

Another great story in the firefly universe. Actually the only mild issue I have with it is the space combat sequences as they pretty much ignore newtonian physics... But the story was excellent, and the narrator does a pretty shiney job of channeling Nathan Fillion into his Mal.

Mighty Fine

This book is a mighty fine continuation of the Firefly series of novels. The author is good and so is the reader.
