Not the usual for Dr. Reichs

I want to preface this by saying I love Dr. Reichs and her books. However, to me, this was not the best. The plot drug in places and the usual suspense wasn’t there. That being said, I will a wait anxiously for another book. Everyone deserves an off day.

Great plot and characters. Moved along at a good pace.

I liked the background. Ivy was fun and Tempe was more fun than I remembered

Hard to put down

The story was entertaining but also historically informative. The action kept me riveted! One of her best.

Interesting story! I usually do not listen to mystery novels. But I actually enjoyed reading this one.

Great book

Haven’t read a Tempe book in years, but this makes me want to get back into the series.

Best series for me

Excellent personality development, lots of feeling and emotion., I always hate it when I’ve finished these books, I want them to keep going.

Suspenseful

As usual riveting. As a nurse I find Ms.Rreichs thouroughness very informative and interesting.

The Audible performance was great

Excellent as always, but not my favorite of Ms. Reich's books. Had so many decades of family history of the various culprits to wade through that it became a bit tedious. There were also not enough actually likable characters. Even some of the good guys were not particularly endearing. Still was a great mystery, though.

Reichs has done it again…

Kathy Reichs is one of my favorite authors. Fire & Bones is one of my favorites now. I think was kept guessing right until the end…. Narrator is excellent. Already awaiting a new Tempe Brennan book..
