  • Summary

  • Please note: this series contains adult themes, explicit language and references to child abuse and suicide. Listener discretion is advised.

It started with an anonymous post in 2017. They called themselves 'Q' and left a trail of cryptic messages for an increasing number of followers to obsess over. Over the years, the conspiracy theory became a movement, crashing into mainstream politics and breaking countless families along the way.

Over this investigation, journalist Nicky Woolf dives into the online and offline world of QAnon in his search to find the shadowy figure behind it all and the legacy they've created.

Outside U.S. view and research on QAnon

This was a really great podcast. binged through later, and some of the pre-Jan 6th attack content and interviews showed the tense writing on the wall.

Q

Interesting. I was almost lured in in the beginning but figured things out quickly. Good series.

Lost a loved one to Q?

This really shed a lot of light on Qanon, and why I've lost so many people to it. It's unbelievable the devastation it's caused. Nicky Wolfe does a great job with this piece, and it was worth a listen.

Well produced and narrated journey down a rabbit hole.

If you are interested and befuddled by the Q Cult phenomenon as I was, Woolf provides a decent account of its rise and growing appeal. Ultimately, it takes him and the reader down a rabbit hole. A very unsatisfying trip. I found it to be a waste of nine hours.

Caca

What a dramatic crock of overuse of similies, Damien Omen scary music, and opinions with no basis of fact whatsoever. do not waste even a free credit on this exaggeration of an open mind. Clearly an atheistic bigot looking for 15 min of fame. Somebody got an ars degree and thinks he, well he doesn't think.
