Publisher's Summary

A novel about a shattered family, broken hearts, and healing love by Rachel Van Dyken, the number one New York Times bestselling author of Stealing Her.

Coming out of a coma was one hell of a wake-up call. While I was in the dark, my estranged twin brother, Bridge, had replaced me in the company I owned and swept up my fiancée in the takeover. With my ruthless reputation, can I blame them for falling in love? I have to look long and hard at where I've been and where I’m headed. Alone time? The universe has other plans.

Our family's secluded Vermont cabin comes with a gorgeous - if at first, unwelcoming - surprise. She’s renter Keaton Westbrook, a social media superstar struggling with her own private grief. As a winter storm bears down, we've found something to keep us warm - an intimacy neither of us expected and both of us need.

After we say goodbye, what happens then? Keaton and I are longing to reconcile with our painful pasts. I can't bear to do it without her. Is it too much to ask of fate to give us a second chance at life and love?

Loved this!

So. Good! Not sure if I liked this more than the first book or just as much 🤷‍♀️ It's definitely more depressing but also redeeming for the younger twin.

My heart barely handled this duet!

I went into this book 95% sure I was going to hate Keaton, but he wormed his way into my heart with his redemption story. This beautiful story was both heartbreaking and an emotional roller coaster ride, but one that I'd gladly go on again!

Loved!!!

I needed to listen to the audio of this book rather than read it because I needed to hear Brian Pallinos angelic voice. Anything he has read has made me fall in love with the story more. Julian’s story was amazing. There’s so much grief in this book but it was done so well. I loved how this duet was wrapped up. Will def read more books by this author.

Finding Him

I wish I could get past the narrator from the first book because I loved the second!!
These 2 characters are lighting and it’s kind of fitting. They are both hurting from past love and not ready to move on but life has other plans.
I like that it kind of hits them both that they are falling for each other they helped each other heal.
Sigh so good.
Great narration more please!

Feels

I am not usually as moved by a story as I was with this one. I started out reading it, but was reminded the KU on this one also came with audible when I found it in my audible library. Since I had some crafting I wanted to do, I switched to Audible. Discovered that I was very glad I did. This turned out to be a five tissue read for me. The things Julian was feeling hit home and set off the water works. I cried so much I wouldn't have been able to continue reading until the happy-ever-after. But I had no problems listening. Julian was didn't appear to be a very nice person in the last book. They painted him with the same paint brush as his father was a complete jerk - and I am being nice with that description. In this book we find that really isn't who he is at all. I very much identified with him. Sadly I am not a billionaire like Julian, but I know what he felt. I cried for him. Now many of you will be crying for Keaton and her baggage over her lost love. That too was rather heart rendering. But for me, it was Julian. An awesome read, but do have a tissue box handy.

It’s time for Julian!!

This is Finding Him, book 2 of the Covet duet, written by Rachel Van Dyken. Now it’s time for Julian to get on with his life, since he woke up from his coma in book 1 and found his “life” stolen. In walks Keaton, who is struggling with the loss of her love and trying to write a book to share her story. How can two people bond over words as they are both reeling from the deaths of the most important person in their life? Will Julian always be the twin who only lives for his job? Can Keaton ever recover from watching Noah die? Out of loss, great love is found. You will be laughing at them one minute, and wanting to smack them the next.
The audio performances are nice and expressive.
