Publisher's summary

When he is asleep he is tormented by nightmares. When he is awake he is driven by an obsession.

Dr. Phineas Crook is convinced that the Garden of Eden still exists and that it can be found. Ridiculed by colleagues, his friends warn that his career and health are in danger. But Phineas won’t rest until he finds the mysterious Garden and mines its secrets.

When the beautiful Ruth LaPhage enters his life with unlimited financial resources and the backing of LaPhage Industries - a world leader in artificial intelligence research and application - Phineas is immediately on guard. Sucked into a world beyond his control, the deception and lies begin to mount as long-held secrets are dug up and exposed to the light of day. No longer an academic exercise, the search becomes all too real, and Phineas Crook can do nothing to stop it. The quest is on to find the Garden of Eden with life and death...and eternity, at stake.

The debut novel by Jeffrey S. Crawford will leave you spellbound as you are pulled along on this thrill ride of an adventure where the cutting edge technology of the future meets ancient biblical truth going back to creation itself. You won’t be able to rest until all the secrets of Finding Eden have been revealed, and you listen to the end.

Thought provoking

Jeff did a wonderful job thinking through this story. The begin was a bit slower, but then it picks up and continues to impress. Such a wonderful way to portray the gospel and shows the hope we have in Christ.

Entertaining & Suspenseful

Though this was not the usual genre I listen to, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was very well written, entertaining and suspenseful. Dr. Phineas Cook believes the Garden of Eden truly exists and he just can’t seem to rest until he finds it. Phineas just wants to prove the garden exists however he soon discovers there are others with less than honorable reasons who want to discover it. When Ruth LaPhage offers to finance an expedition to find the garden Phineas declines realizing her reasons are to enter the garden and take from it. Unfortunately things go awry from here. I found I really had to listen and pay attention as there was a lot to this story, however it was well worth the effort. It was intriguing and at times quite action packed. The biblical references intermingled with the technological aspects in the story were quite fascinating. I am a devout Christian so I was interested in seeing how the story would all end up. There were tragic moments in the story as well as exciting ones and all in all it was a very entertaining story narrated by a talented artist. Paul Curtis did an exceptional job with the narration. He has such a talent for bringing all the characters to life and making listening to the story a wonderful experience. I received a free copy of this audiobook and have voluntarily provided an unbiased review.

Thrilling

This book is a great fiction story with facts from the Bible that carries the story! It was hard to turn off. I kept saying just one more chapter. This book would make a great movie. The narrator was great! Thanks!

FAITH MEETS AI

James Bond meets Oral Roberts and Stanley Kubrick.

I made it halfway through. The narrator was not bad, but not the best.

Not for me.
