I have never read a book like this before. If was full of twists and turns and I didn't want it to end. I love how she has a safe place that will always be hers. She matures and grows over such a short period of time and I can't wait to see how the next book progresses.

Final Life

This is book one in the Final Life Series. This book is very interesting. I am interested in seeing what will happen in book 2.

I loved this book! From the first chapter it captured my attention with original characters and spellbinding story! I love the premise and execution of this story

first in series

this first in series was a little slow to begin with but when it did pick up I did enjoy it.

Nice start to a series

Starting out, I wasn't certain about this book, but boy did it get good quickly. It is the start of a series so there is some set up. That being said, there is plenty of action. I wasn't sure about certain characters, neither was Dominique for that matter. She is a typical teenager, completely unhappy when she is forced to move because of her parents.

That set up, I knew there was something more and something coming, but there were some freaky parts that I didn't expect at all, but completely enjoyed. I liked her protector. She did come across as a spoiled brat occasionally, but overall it was a great read. I can't wait for the next one.

A solid story

I was intrigued by the summary for this book. The first few chapters of the book really engaged me but I got a bit lost after that. There were just so many different story arcs and it seemed jumbled to me. Her decision making was juvenile at times, which considering she’s 17 in the story is spot on, but it really took me out of the story. The love triangle seemed forced and rushed. Many of the story elements seemed rushed to me, probably because there was a lot of story arcs in this book. It just was a bit too chaotic for me. That said, I listened to the end and was satisfied. The narrator did a fine job with all the characters though her Spanish accent was not great. All in all, a good listen. I did receive a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Interesting and fast paced

This was an interesting and unique story. The world building was good, and it moved along at a good pace. Add a little bit of budding romance, even a bit of a love triangle, and it’s a pretty well rounded and satisfying story. There’s still some mystery to unfold, not everything was fully resolved, so it was a nice set up for the next book, which I am looking forward to continuing.

Magnificent

This is the first book I have ever heard from this author. I am glad I had the opportunity to experience it. It was an entertaining and thrilling read. Alot of action and magic that I love.

Love this series and was excited to see it finally on audio. Narrator’s Spanish accent could use a little work but other than that, she was great. Story was riveting in print and hearing it performed took it to a whole new level. Looking forward to the rest of the series being available on audio!
