It was.....ok

I think I may have enjoyed it a little more with different narrators. It was a bit of a struggle picturing young and beautiful people.

A great, sweet and swoony story!! I listened to this audio in one sitting! Loved the duet narration!

Theo & Mac!!!

Theo & Mac were best friends until the night she disappeared. Mac shows up 3yr later with LOTS of secrets. There's a bad guy who takes mean to the next level & a mother who's a witch! Mac keeps making poor choices and frustrating the beejeepers out of me. Theo is a good guy with the patience of a saint. We eventually get an HEA.

Maddening To The Very End! I love it!

I have such a love/hate relationship with this story! So many wrongs these two make it a messy cluster of feels throughout that had me wanting to pull my hair and shake a fictional character for the second time!
I am already a big fan of C.M Seabrooks, and this story, getting a different perspective of the characters through audible makes it even more worthwhile!

Narration; different from others I have heard- was not how I anticipated the characters to be, but gave them different depths- still painted a picture to go along with the tale and pleasing to the ear!

Love Theo

A book with romance, suspense and a man with a little girl, what more can you ask for? CM Seabrook has come up with a winning combination. Theo has always love Mackenzie, but never was able to let her know. After a drunken one night stand, Mac leaves, returning 3 years later. Theo, being the protective man he is and with the love he has does his best to keep her safe, but when he finds out her secrets, will he be able to forgive her and keep her alive? Theo is definitely a man that is easy to fall in love with, his ability to make Mac feel safe, and his scenes with his princess will melt your heart. Mac at times is frustrating, though I understand exactly her thought process, there were times I wanted to strangle her and make her spill all of her past so Theo could help her through it. I also love how Seabrook involves Theo's mom, giving the feeling of a complete family as well as involving Theo's best friend(hope he gets a book too!). Second chances are something to strive for and this book proves how love will help conquer all.

Jeffrey and Ali Peterson give a performance with all the feels and emotions that this story has. Jeff has that deep baritone voice giving Theo that protective, alpha feel with Ali portraying Mac as the scared and protective mom she is.
