Publisher's Summary

Author and pastor Craig Groeschel helps you uncover who you really are - a man created in the image of God with a warrior's heart - and how to fight the good fight for what's right. You will find the strength to fight the battles you know you need to fight - the ones that determine the state of your heart, the quality of your marriage, and the spiritual health of your family. Craig will also look at examples from the Bible, including our good buddy Samson. Yep, the dude with the rippling biceps and hippie hair and a thing for Delilah. You may be surprised how much we have in common with this guy. By looking at his life, you'll learn how to defeat the demons that make strong men weak. You'll become who God made you to be: A man who knows how to fight for what's right. And don't you dare show up for this fight unarmed. Learn how to fight with faith, with prayer, and with the Word of God It's time to fight like a man. For God's Sake, FIGHT.

Good reminder of the man God created me to be

What made the experience of listening to Fight the most enjoyable?

Honestly, the ability to playback at 1.5 speed. The author spoke very slowly and so speeding it up made it easier to listen to.

What did you like best about this story?

I really liked the passion you could hear in the author's voice. I also really liked the reality checks that he regularly inserted to make his points. Facts are facts. Guys are guys. I liked that the author wasn't afraid to step on toes or to be politically incorrect. Men are different than women. I really valued the routine challenges that the author gave to me. I also really liked the warriors prayer at the end. I was inspired.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I felt like the narration was a little slow, so I had to play it back at a faster rate. I did like the real passionate way the author spoke.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I listened to it over three days on my commute to and from work. I would think listening to it in one sitting may not be all that helpful because taking time to sit and reflect and pray on what you've heard would be really important.

Any additional comments?

Overall, I really liked this book. I felt that the author did a great job communicating his message that we men were built to be warriors for God. While I didn't really relate to some of the examples and may disagree a bit about approach, I think the spirit of the book was totally on point. I am thankful having listened to it and would recommend it to a friend.

Great book! Must read!

Good, convicting, slightly encouraging book. Definitely had some good reminders and a few new principles plus some stern warnings in the book. Well written and the author also has a sense of humor and some wittiness. He did read very slow so I sped up the playback speed to 1.5x That was sufficient. Overall, great book!

Excellent Book For Men of All Ages!

This is an excellent book read by the author and is a general study of men’s issues through looking at the life of Samson. We used it and the accompanying video curriculum for our men’s group. Very helpful!

I love listening to Craig.

I love listening to Craig narrate his own books. You can hear the unspoken things in the book through his voice reflection. Great story way to inspire men to be the man that they are called to be!
