Publisher's summary

"Mia's whirlwind journey is a refreshing mix of adventure, soul-searching, and steaming hot physical intensity that packs an emotional punch." - Meredith Wild, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Hacker series

A muse. Me. The motorcycle riding, ass-kicking, concert t-shirt wearing chick from Las Vegas, is a world-renowned French artist's muse. For a month.

I had no idea when I took the escort job with Exquisite Escorts I would be standing naked in front of a blank canvas in a Seattle warehouse.

"Love on Canvas" he calls his exhibit, a combination of photographic stills and paint entwined to create the most awe-inspiring pieces the world will ever see. Except every last one of them features me and a moment in time where I was vulnerable.

Alec Dubois played on those vulnerabilities, teaching me lessons about love and life that would stay with me through the rest of my days.

Mia Saunders continues her mission to bail out her comatose father whose life is on the line to a dangerous loan-shark who happens to be Mia's ex-boyfriend. For this journey, she serves as a high-priced escort to a French artist named Alec Dubois in Seattle, Washington.

Each installment in the Calendar Girl Serial will feature Mia, told from her perspective as she continues her journey as an escort to twelve clients in twelve different locations.

Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.

A Monthly Treat

This is the second month of the story that is far different than I expected from the blurb. It's better than I expected. The main character is sympathetic and I'm enjoying getting to see her interact with the secondary characters. I'm looking forward to the full series.

Intriguing Art

So Mia moves on to Alec, and while I didn't hate him, I couldn't like him as much as Wes. This story was intriguing. I loved the detail of the art he created using her as a muse and as partial creator. That part was beautiful.

HOTTER THAN JANUARY!!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved the artist character and the relationship they developed between each other. This relationship was so different than the one her and Will shared.

Which scene was your favorite?

Then ending was really cute on this one.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

HOT HOT HOT

Any additional comments?

February is hotter than January. The book continues to get steamy and the assignment in this client made for a great story. Calendar girl is a book to read! I really like this story and it’s just getting better. Ready for Chicago.

Lost interest

I’ve got about an hour left and I’m just not into it anymore. The more and more I listened I just disliked Mia more and more. I’m just going to stop it here and not continue the series.

THIS IS MY NEW OBSESSION

Every once in a while, I stumble upon a series that I have to literally gorge on--this is one of them. Mia and her rendezvous have my complete attention and all of my focus. I'm not usually a fan of these super short stories that could very well be two or three 8-hours books, but, this one is true to the disclaimer, it's a standalone and super hot, although I think you need to listen in order to grasp the context and understand Mia's actions/thoughts etc. Part of what is making this book enjoyable is the narrator, she's GREAT as Mia. Sure she could work on her male characterizations and accents, but, that's secondary to the sharp, witty & sassy writing. My February has never been as smoking hot as little Ms. Mia's. I am gearing up for the rest of the year, and can't wait!

Sexy Artist

If you could sum up February in three words, what would they be?

Art of Love

What was one of the most memorable moments of February?

Mia really grows to accept and love herself. Alec shows her the different kinds of love and their importance in our lives.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, plus it's relatively short so it's easy to do.

Any additional comments?

This is one of my favorite books in the series. I feel like there was more character development and still contains the sexy scenes. Other books in the series lack the substance this one does.

a little disappointed

I didn't enjoy this book as much as January. I couldn't get into the artist and it felt like it had no depth too me. I enjoyed the narration and will move on to book 3.

Passionate Frenchman

Any additional comments?

Mia continues on with her escort service job, this month brings her to a very passionate French artist named, Alec.

Alec sweeps Mia off her feet literally causing her to injury her ankle. This doesn't seem to bother Alec as he likes to carry Mia all around his three story apartment in Seattle.

Mia soon learns that Alec demands Mia's love, which she is not willingly to give out so quickly especially for a 24 day gig. But Mia does finds it hard not to fall under the spell of the Frenchman.

Aubrey Carlan writes another good short story. It is not necessary to read the first book, but it does make references to it at times.
