Yes, I know breathing down necks is kind of a vampire’s main gig… but let’s be real, it’s downright creepy.

As the bodies start piling up and the stakes get higher, I can’t help but wonder if I’ll be able to crack the case before it’s too late. This is a clean paranormal cozy mystery series with a side of humor, that features a vampire veterinarian who stumbles into trouble while trying to take care of her patients... those of the normal and the supernatural variety.

I enjoyed this book. Not to deep, but plenty of of cute humor. Word play in this book was great

Adorably cute

What a fun read! The story line is adorable with an adorable vampire vet who keeps finding herself in sticky situations. I truly enjoyed the ride with her as she stumbles her way through the mystery. I also got a giggle out of a lot of the names. Justin Case (just in case), Tim Berr (timber). Ophelia Pain (oh I feel your pain) to name a few. It’s a cozy mystery with giggle worthy moments that I truly enjoyed. The narrators nailed it and are phenomenal. Truly can’t go wrong with them!

so cheesy

The main narrator was the only reason I finished this, the writing is overblown and cheesy to the point where it doesn't even really make sense - word choice (and naming) and phrasing was super extra, to the point where it didn't make sense in context. Also, the protagonist is just ...bad at being a detective to the point where it's kinda painful.
