Publisher's Summary

Evil prepares to feast. And Dan Tate is the main course....

Dan Tate has finally recovered from his recent ordeal. His work repairing the local schoolhouse has become a kind of therapy, and his anger and guilt have started to melt away. He has even forged a new relationship - a friendship that could grow into something more....

But when he encounters the corrupt medium, Janet Ladd, he realizes he has made a deadly enemy. Dan’s efforts to help the spirits of Coffin Cemetery find peace have interfered with Janet’s ambitions for wealth and power. And she has released a voracious wraith that hungers to feed on the meddling humans in her way.

Working with kindly spirits, Dan puts his paranormal abilities to the ultimate test. Delving into the murderous ghost’s past, he must uncover a way to banish this supernatural killer for good.

Because if he fails, this unforgiving specter will devour his soul....

Great

Great story. I really find myself enjoying everything I've read or listened to by Mr. Ripley. He's got a great mind for horror.

OMG - what a book

So, this is book 3 in the Tormented Souls series. It is an amazing book - can be hard to handle in a few sections - but Ron does not languish nor embellish those portions (thank goodness). I absolutely love his creativity and will always hold my attention. If only I could read all day long... Enjoy

The Cook

This is the 3rd book of the series and I enjoy it immensely cannot wait until next book as left you wondering. There are good ghosts and evil ghosts. Recommend reading 1st Coffin Cemetery then 2nd Anger and Death to get full effect of characters. This book is has more gore. Dan Tate who cares for the cemetery and schoolhouse and the ghosts he interacts with trying to help them after experiencing d a horrendous situation. He has had in person interactions with his kids (Aaron and Emily) which seem to be going well as well as seeing Diane. I cannot wait to see what Shane plans for when he comes to Anger to help with the evil ghosts. I love Dan and Eli, hate Janet and Eliza, has new character Ell, upset about Andrea. Good narration. Highly recommend if you like ghosts!

The tradition continues

Scare Street has A habit of writing really good horror books Let me just say with the start of this Series Coffin Cemetery I can honestly say it seems like they’re just getting better. And this one of course good old Janet is back And when I say good old Janet I mean the old hag Who talks to evil ghosts and she is back with new and more evil intentions and then there’s my man Dan Tate, he talks to Eli a nine-year-old ghost who is always advance side. In this book the third installment it is once again good against evil then against Janet and although Janet may have some real life tricks up her sleeve, Dan Has new friends tell bite the evil in anger. I like this book so much I found the cops characters are really flourishing and like always I don’t know where Ron Ripley It’s going with the Siri’s but I like where this book took me. Again it can be read by itself, but having the backstory makes any book better. If you love horror Then you should have already read this book… It is so good.
