My 7 year old loves this book!
My daughter has trouble getting to sleep, so after we read or make up stories, we put on audiobook stories to occupy her mind while she drops off to sleep. She likes shorter stories so she doesn't miss much if she falls asleep during a story. This book has a delightful mix of well-known and lesser known stories to keep her interest, and having different voices narrating the stories makes it easy for her to find the story she was listening to when she fell asleep. The narrators all make the stories seem that much more charming.

Excellent Selection of stories
Where does Favorite Children's Stories, Volume 2 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Yes...and this includes my whole family.
What did you like best about this story?
Great selection of stories and lots of variety in narration. Different single voices and a few multiple voices. This really helped my kids stay interested..not an easy thing to do!
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?
Too many to list.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No...used it on a long family vacation drive.
Any additional comments?
Hope more volumes coming. We are big fans of this series.

Terrible Recording and Sound!
Love the stories but we couldn't even finish listening because the quality of the recording was so bad! I've made recordings on a cassette tape that sound better. very disappointed

Not for African Americans
Hated it. A story involving "Black slaves" is not acceptable for children. By selling this book and others like it, while having a modest African American author listing, is blatantly offensive.
