Loved it

I loved this book. The story was intense; bringing together my 3 favorite races- humans, elves and dragons! Can the lowly outcast human, last of her kind, find her powers to save the world from the sea queen? I’m on to book 2 to find out.

Amazing story made even better!

This story is such an epic, amazing, beautiful tale when being read.. but listening to the audiobook really added so much more magic to it! The narrator really brought the characters to life, and I enjoyed listening to it even more than I enjoyed reading it, which isn't very common for me. This story has everything in it.. dragon shifters, elves, sea people, absolutely magical! I highly recommend this series!

Great story, awesome narration!

Fully enjoyed this book, the story was great, exciting world, great tension and real feeing of urgency for Vahly. I was so into it I was actually disappointed when it ended. The narration was also fantastic, she did a great job with giving each character their own personality and voices, had great emotion where necessary and was very pleasant to listen to. I can’t wait to get the next book.

Such an amazing listen! Thoroughly enjoyed this story and meeting Vahly! I really like how different this story was from most fantasy books I have read- the narrator really gives it life and gets you invested with the telling. I need to read the next book!

Stunning

Such a great story, the characters where so well done in the story. The narrator did a great job telling the story can’t wait to find out what’s to happen in the following story’s

LOTR meets ATLA

There are four high races and four elemental powers. Water to the merfolk. Wind to the elves. Fire to the dragons. Earth to the humans.

The last human, having been raised by dragons, is ready to embrace her power.

One problem, she can't use any magic at all. Vali feels like a failure. A feeling I can relate to with ease. But she is determined. Instead of just bowing her head and laying low, she is constantly searching for a ritual or source to activate her powers. even if it means going to the dragon's greatest enemy.

The elves. I really loved the story after the elves became involved. They added so much grandeur and mystery to the story. Best of all the quest to see them was but a matter of moments. No ridiculous long arduous Journey. Just boom elves falling from the sky.

As with all audiobooks credit must be paid to the narrator Caitlin Davies, who gave a stellar performance that brought each character to life.

Vahly goes after her dream

This is a book with some great characters. The story is lively with a lot of action. Each character is unique.
I would recommend this book to those who like magic, elves, dragons, merfolk and other species, war, and some humor. Most of the characters are dragons, elves and merfolk. Vahly is the only human. Some parts of this story are very sad. Some are funny. Vahly is stubborn and will do about anything to be the person that all the dragons believe she is destined to be. It is hard for her to be the only one who cannot fly. She has a lot of spirit and is someone that I enjoyed reading about.

The narrator is amazing. She does a good job bringing each personality to life. She reads with energy and enthusiasm. Her voices are distinct.

Awesome fantasy read

I liked the narration on this book, I thought the narrator did a great job keeping you engaged. I would definitely recommend this to any fantasy reader who like high fantasy rebellion and journey style books. Also dragons and sea people, I mean must I say more! Amazing

a little slow at the beginning but when it picked up....just wow. First book I've read and listened to by Alisha and look forward to more.

Great book, well written and a true adventure

This really is a great book with twists and turns. This is very well written and has a great narrator.

Stick with it, I can say it took quite a while to fully get into this book but I was really pleased I did. This book is very descriptive so you have a very good idea of exactly where you are and who you are with. The characters are pretty well developed if not always the most likeable. I found myself really loving Nix and the bond breakers yet Amona, Vahly’s dragon adoptive mother I really couldn’t get the same connection to. I really enjoyed a look into the POV of Ryton and the sea folk. I also liked the elves. This book is definitely leading up to something much bigger in the next book I think which I really am interested in. If it hadn’t taken me so long to get into I probably would of rated it higher but I suspect the next book will be a lot higher rating.

Great storyline

I really liked the storyline. Its way different than anything I've read before which I enjoyed. I cant wait to see what happens next. Good narrator too.

Good story line

Having listened to the book the heroine sounds too squeaky but otherwise the story is different to any I've read/listened to so far!

I've really enjoyed the line of the story. the characters are interesting and well built. I wish to continue with this series and find out what's happening next.
hope Val is gonna have some romance with either the elv or the sea general or both lol

This book was slow to begin with but once it picked up it got more interesting.
If you love dragon books then this is for you.

Enchanting tale

This book started a little slow but, it is definitely worth sticking with. The characters and the world the author brings to life with words are so enchanting it makes this book hard to put down. The narrator is great, adding an extra dimension to this tale. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Fate of Dragons book 1

Dragons, Elves, Sea folk and the last surviving human..... What a combination. The Evil Sea Queen what's to flood the the world and wipe out elves, dragons and human. Vahly (the last human) who was saved and raised by dragons must find her way if any have a chance to survive. This is a great story and I'm looking forward to finding out what happens in the following books. The book is finished at a good point with defiantly more to come. I have been enjoying the characters as they develop and the relationship with each other. It's good to have the audio so that I can listen and enjoy the story without looking at the screen. I also enjoyed the way the story is told.

My Honest Review

a great story, took a few chapters for me to get into it but once I did I was hooked, its well thought out and well written.

I am looking forward to the next part of the journey
