Understanding the main character (spolier)

This chapter was very well written. I looked thru the reviews before getting into the story and a lot of people stated the main character was still weak and they didn't like that. I have to disagree on this. Some people are not realizing the story is taking place in a slow time frame. it's not like a person can change in just a month ology hav to give the character time to grow. Wren has gone thru a lot of trauma and that's not easy to grow or get over. I can't wait for the next chapter. I really hope Samuel gets another mate cause I feel for him.

Not sure how I feel

So first off the familiars voice is not it. It’s cringy. And second off I like all the mates but I wish she would spend more time with Lachlan and Kian. Also I feel bad for Rhett because she could give him more time of day. Also the fact that she bonded with Kian finally but didn’t actually sleep with him properly to “bond their souls” like she claims she wants with all her mates. I also hoped as the book went on that she would atleast learn how to fight or something but she tends to stay timid and weak the whole time. I like her relationship with Damien but i wish she could think for herself and not always go weak for him. Like give your other mates more time of day and tell Damien to go find something else to do with his time. I just feel like some of the plot lines are all over the place at times and I don’t get it but I will continue on since I want to know what happens anyway. I enjoyed the narration voices outside of the voice they used for the familiar.

Wren

I really do love this series but as I read some of the other reviews the more I did agree with them bout Wren. She needs to get a back bone and start standing up for herself. I hope she does better in the next book.
It time for Wren to put on her big girl panties and start kicking some ass.

Love it

I really love this series, and that it has a lot of action that keeps me on my toes. I’m a little disappointed that Wren hasn’t grown at all in these two books and is still a scared, weak chic. I’m not sure how someone like this has the attention of all the guys when they have to constantly protect her and console her cause she is always crying over something. I thought it was fine in the first book because of her trauma, but I was hoping at least by the end of this book, she would grow a pair already and stop being so scared and letting the past dictate her present. I’m hoping the next book is better and maybe she grows more, but maybe she’ll just stay weak and have to have a bunch of men constantly save her.

Plenty enjoyable for what it is

If you’re looking to read a reverse harem story with plenty of action this is a decent series. However I find myself really annoyed with the main character. She hasn’t bonded with two of her (7) mates by the end of book two. More than that she has gotten her power but has NOT gotten emotionally stronger by the end of this book as well. Narrators emote a little too hard sometimes.
