Publisher's Summary

Join Half-Moon Hollow's favorite couple for a trip down memory lane - to a time when Mr. Wainwright was newly dead, Jane Jameson was a newbie vampire, and a budding paranormal romance was not yet uncorked....

Half-Moon Hollow's supernatural social event of the season - Zeb's Titanic-themed werewolf wedding - is coming up, and Dick Cheney (not that Dick Cheney!) needs a date. But Andrea's had enough of clever, handsome, and rakish to last a lifetime, and Dick Cheney is certainly not the sort of man you bring home to mom (not that Andrea's deadist parents are speaking to her ever since she dropped out of college and became a blood surrogate). Shameless, relentless, roguish, with a Stetson-worthy swagger, a naughty sparkle in his eyes, and a constant smirk - oh, and fangs - no, Dick is the last person (er...vampire) Andrea wants to date.

But the infuriatingly irresistible man who lives quietly on the edge of a criminal underworld knows exactly what he wants, and once he surprises Andrea with a thrilling hot and dirty kiss behind the paranormal bookshop, she knows what she wants too: Dick. All it takes to ignite their unconventional courtship is a near-undeath experience that confronts Dick with a choice between turning Andrea, losing her forever, or tapping in to his countless shady resources.

Only Molly Harper can make me love Dick Cheney!

I love Dick Cheney so much and this just adds to my love for him from Molly Harper's other Half Moon Hollow books. I just wish it was longer honestly I could hear about Dick and Andrea all day but sadly this is only 2 hours. It was really great to see why Andrea caved and also why she had her walls up with Dick in the first place. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read any Molly Harper books and also any one who likes a short quirky romance. I am also so glad that Amanda Ronconi kept Andrea's voice the same in all the books.

Great addition to the Jane Jamison/Half-moon Hollo

4.5-5 stars

This was a great addition to the Jane Jamison/Half-moon Hollow stories. It's basically just a short look into Dick and Andrea's courtship...shedding some light on how he got her to consider going out with him. It also gives a bit more of a view into Andrea and Dick (individually and together) which I liked. It was an interesting and rather sweet exert and I enjoyed it greatly. This short is great but probably not going to mean much to those that haven't read either series since they wont know the characters or where this fits in. I'd definitely recommend it to people that follow the Half-moon Hollow or Jane Jamison series. :D

Just want it to be longer

If you could sum up Fangs for the Memories in three words, what would they be?

unexpectedly sweet

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I was expecting Molly Harper to look closer at the event surrounding book 3, where most of the drama happens with Andrea but instead she fleshed out her earlier encounters with Dick

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

that being said Amanda Ronconi is my favorite proformer and I feel like she gets the jokes and helps you understand with her inflection and pauses just make it

A little boring, given that we knew the outcome

Only shed a tiny little bit of light on the subject. Wasn't really worth it.

Too Short!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I enjoyed the characters and the narration immensely. It answered a lot of questions as to why these particular characters were together.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fangs for the Memories?

I'm going to have to listen to the ENTIRE series again, after listening to this because I think I missed a lot of nuances about Dick...he is more of an old-fashioned gentleman than I gave him credit for.

Any additional comments?

The only reason I didn't give this five stars was because of the abrupt ending. I really enjoyed the book.

Loved it!

If you could sum up Fangs for the Memories in three words, what would they be?

Hilarious, Snarky, Brilliant

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fangs for the Memories?

When Dick is taking care of Andrea and showing her a different side of him that she didn't know existed because SHE wasn't giving him a chance to show it.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

An added layer to the characters!

Any additional comments?

OMG… what have I been missing!?!?! From the very beginning of this novella, I knew what readers were talking about when they mentioned the humor author Molly Harper includes and the fantastic characters she writes! While this is the first time I listen to an audio book of Molly’s books, it’s not going to be the last. There is a perfect partnership between the narrator and the story Molly has written. This is rare and when it occurs, it’s magical!

The characters are a blast! They each bring their own sense of humor and sarcasm to the party, so to say yet have a depth to them that you can find is relatable. Andrea is the heroine who is trying to fight the ever increasing attraction to the hero who is a vampire named Dick Cheney (not that Dick Cheney!)! And yes, that is exactly how he is introduced! LOL! There is a very good reason why she’s trying to stay away from Dick and it’s more than just what the blurb hints at. Of course, there is also way more to Dick than what is hint in the blurb as well as what Andrea thinks she knows about him.
There are several moments throughout the story that have you laughing out loud, so I’d suggest not eating or drinking while listening/reading to this (or most of Molly’s) book. As I said, this is the first of hers I’ve read… it can be read as a standalone, but I’m itching to go back to the beginning and catch up on the series and get to know the cast of characters. I also want more DICK!! LOL!

Narrator’s Review: Amanda was awesome! She provided each of the characters with their own unique voices and tones! You knew exactly who was speaking and when it was the narration vs. a character. She is definitely a narrator that I will follow going forward.

Disappointing

I could scream as I am so disappointed. I have been walking around with my headphones on with NOTHING coming out for the last 30 minutes...that is how shocked & disappointed I am.
Why I hear you ask........louder please I did not hear!
It is too short. After waiting for YEARS to hear the Dick & Andrea story ...it is too short. It is beautifully written ...it is so sweet & tender BUT ...where is the rest of it. The bit where Andrea gets turned...the wedding .....ARHHHHHH ......where is it?????? For that reason I am actually marking down a Molly Harper book. I will now go & quietly sob...my whole day ruined.

Another great novella

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The tease where you wonder if Andrea's has been turned vampire or not after the botched feeding.

Any additional comments?

When Andrea first meets Dick Cheney she doesn’t take him or his continual flirting seriously; how could she when he was wearing t-shirts with obscene and inappropriate designs on? She soon sees a different side to him and when he saves her from certain death, and not the undead kind, she realises that he’s not too bad after all.
This little novella explains how Dick and Andrea get together, and it’s a sweet little addition to the series. Dick is one of the key players in Half-Moon Hollow, and the story adds to his overall bio. I love all of Molly Harper’s work and this was no exception; there is an author/reader chemistry and she taps it every time.

Great

Any additional comments?

Loved this, it was fun getting Andrea's POV and seeing that other side of Dick Cheney (the vampire, not the president! Lol!). Really hoping for more little Half-Moon Hollow snippets, especially with these characters!
