Publisher's summary

Cute rhyming audiobook.

Thanksgiving is a special time of year when family gets together, we eat lots of yummy food, and we spend quality time together. This is a cute rhyming story about a "normal" family Thanksgiving, but you will quickly see how familiar it will be. Grab a slice of pumpkin pie and enjoy.

Perfect as a gift for kids - beginning and early learners - and for listening aloud with friends and family!

  • Beautifully narrated audiobook
  • Excellent for listening aloud or as a bedtime story
  • Great for toddlers, preschool, and elementary children

From the audiobook:

"Dad, Ruby, and I go to get the potatoes. We also buy squash, corn, and tomatoes. 'And we can’t forget the chocolate pie!' My sister and I together we cry.

"Nana and then Papa get here first, with my silly aunt that is a nurse! We jump into their arms, where they hug us and kiss us! They tell us we’ve grown and that they’ve missed us!

"By now, the house is filled with chatting, laughing people, and the noise is so loud, it shouldn’t be legal! But we all quiet down, like my growling tummy, the moment we sit down to eat - oh, how yummy!"

Family Holidays

This story is about a family who is preparing for their Thanksgiving Holiday with their family. The first step is get get the food, and then prepare the food which is when the family starts showing up. The story shows the joys of spending the holidays with family and the struggles. The narration and sound effects were entertaining as well. Next up Christmas!

cute story

The story was cute, although the children come across as selfish. They are barely finished with Thanksgiving and they are pushing their ways into Christmas gifts instead of enjoying the current holiday. Also, close up your room if you don't want the small children in it.

I can't say Thanksgiving for this

The author showed a lack depth for the subject of Thanksgiving has there was no background on it in the story to build a young child's mind. I noticed that tge story a vagueness about that made the party seem subjective to interpretation if you removed the word Thanksgiving rhe listener would have just thought if it has any other family gathering.

I don't think parents should buy this if what there looking for is a holiday story with depth has this novel lacks that quality in it.
