Virtual voice

Please, please get rid of virtual voices. I struggled with this story because of the robotic voice. January LaVoy can’t be replaced , in fact none of the actors can be replaced. Please rethink this format

Story Great but the "virtual voice" makes tons of Mistakes

I really enjoyed the 3 books and the story lines. There were some unexpected plot twists that I loved. My only complaint is that the AI reader can't pronounce things like nachos or someone "leading" an investigation. You would be surprised how many times these and other words pop up.

Didn’t like narrator

Narrator sounded like a 3 yr old reading for the first time didn’t hold my interest at all

Can’t stand the virtual voice the story would have a better impact with a real person reading it

AI Narration is terrible!

I could not get past the bad narration to finish the book! It’s hard to follow the story when every voice sounds the same with no intonation! The chapters switch to different characters POV, but it all sounds the same!

Couldn’t continue listening

I really wanted to listen to this book. If it is not AI that is reading the book, it is a pretty terrible performance. It is the same voice for every character, making the storyline very difficult to follow. It also mispronounced words, and so I could not get more than a few chapters in before I had to abandon the rest of the book. As such, I cannot really comment on the quality of the actual book and the storyline, it seemed intriguing, but I also felt like in the chapters I did listen to it wasn’t the most engaging and coherent storyline.

awful AI Voice and pronunciation!

The story, in and of itself, is not bad. The AI narration ruins it all. If Audible goes further into AI narration, I'm leaving Audible. That's how bad it is.

Unable to finish the first book

This book has the premise of a great story but it is not written as a book that does well as an audio book. Perhaps if the book had been read by different narrators based on their gender and character it would have been easier to follow. The narrator has a wonderful voice but emphasis is in the wrong places as well as sentences running together. Many times throughout my listen I was unsure as to which character was speaking. I have listened to hundreds of books and have powered through many a slow start but I could not finish this one. My opinion is that this is a book to read and not one to listen to, at least not in this format with this narrator.
